ensure that the people we serve live their lives enriched by what they can do, and not limited
by what they cannot. With your partnership, we CAN make independence possible.
Marcus - “I really enjoy my independence and living by myself with my cat,
Frisky. I love going to the beach, bowling, watching movies with my friends
that I meet at church, listening to all kinds of music and going to SeaWorld. My
counselor takes me to my doctor’s appointments, the grocery store and helps
me navigate the trolley and bus system. I take the bus to my job at The Home
Depot. I really like working there because I get to meet so many nice people.”
