Mot du
Président d’honneur
Mabi Canada is proud to be a partner of the Open Montreal alongside the School of Olympic Champions, and to
attend the birth of outstanding Taekwondo athletes.
The sport most practiced in Quebec after Soccer, conveys values that I hold dear: rigor, perseverance, reliability, selfconfidence and respect for each other. Taekwondo is one of the best tools to channel the energy of our youth and to
teach him life. His teaching is valuable.
Open Montreal is born of the constant and ongoing effort to Master Abdelilah Es Sabbar for the promotion of
Taekwondo and has been since his arrival in Quebec. His tenacity was rewarded today for the sake of us all and
passion together 600 top athletes, Quebec and all provinces of Canada, under the banner of the competition and
the search for transcendence.
I wish the Open Montreal of Taekwondo in its first edition, the success it deserves. I am convinced that the
tournament will settle over time and must be part of a tradition of sports of people in Montreal, Quebec and Canada.
Finally, I thank all the athletes, coaches and volunteers who make such challenges and possible thank the School of
Olympic Champions have Mabi Canada associated with this important event.
Excellent competition for you all.
