saddled and ready to ride at 10 am. Bring your camera. Ride will be about 3 hrs
and there may be motorcycles on parts of the trail. Brown bag lunch, there is water

The New Year’s ride was moved to February because of inclement weather. 18 riders rode for
about three hours and enjoyed good company and a potluck after the ride.

The Knapp Ride so named because of the teasing Kelly and Charles received a few years back when they first
sponsored a ride. This route was different from the first. Twelve riders embarked on this journey through Dayton BLM
and passed by some mustang bands along the way.

St. Patrick’s Day in Virginia City
Saturday, March 16th is the Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade and Rocky Mountain Oyster Cook-off in Virginia
City. The parade starts at noon and is quite enjoyable in the usual Virginia City style. There should not need to be
an explanation as to what “Rocky Mountain Oysters” are but the cooks are competitive and tasting is available to
those who may be brave enough to try them. Come on up and have a good time!
Pony Express Re-Ride
If you would like to participate in the Pony Express Re-Ride coming up in June, please contact the National Pony
Express Association for an application. Go Pony!
