Twine Roundup Recycling Program
Jupiter Hay is running a contest for non-profit
organizations to participate in an awareness campaign to
educate livestock owners (those that feed hay) to properly
dispose unused twine and recycle. Did you know that the
Federal Law prohibits burning or disposal of twine in
regular waste/trash and you could be fined up to $10,000?
Show Saddle for sale. $600 obo.
Stirrups that are on it do not go with it but
a new pair will be given.

The program will run May 1 through September 30. The
group with the most baling twine , determined by weight,
will receive a $500 donation from Jupiter Hay.
Linda Mulkey will be in charge of collecting the twine. It
can be brought to rides, meetings, or she can pick it up
within a reasonable distance. You can also bring it to
Carson City where she works.

HDH Trail Trial
Cerena Cooper is in charge of this year’s HDH Trail Trial which will be held on September 14th at Scout Camp.
She is in need of Judges and Volunteers for Registration, Cooking, Scoring, and all around general help.
Donations are being accepted for a trail trial raffle. In addition, we also have a continuous raffle throughout the year
for portable horse panels. The drawing will be held at the trail trial.
NEW THIS YEAR—Obstacle and Award Sponsors. Obstacle Sponsors will have a sign with their name at their
obstacle and their name on the route map. Obstacle sponsors are $50 each. Award Sponsors are from $25 -$50.
A table will be at the event for all sponsors to put out literature if they wish. HDH can arrange for literature to be
picked up and the leftovers returned to the sponsors.
All sponsors will be individually mentioned during the awards ceremony, have a link to their organization on our
website and a spot in our newsletter.
If you know of someone who would be interested in being a sponsor or if you would like to participate, please
contact Cerena for all questions pertaining to the trail trial. 775-267-9275 cerena713gmail.com
