The Lionel Young band was exceptional, Saturday March 10. This musically gifted band really presented the blues with a touch of style that included some jazz and R&B mixed in for good measure. The depth of Lionel Young’s performance was outstanding. A great opening act, blues harp player Ronnie Shellist, offered some wonderful traditional blues that was well appreciated. Hope you made it. Lizard Creek always delivers great music. Now we look to the summer. We are working feverishly on the details of our annual Blues Under the Trees.
