ASSESSMENT SERVICES Montevista Hospital offers free 24/7 on-site assessment and referral services. You will receive a free and confidential level-of-care assessment conducted by a master’s level professional or a psychiatric nurse. The assessment specialist will seek personal insight into your past and current symptoms in a compassionate manner to determine what level of care you need. We ensure that everyone will be treated with dignity and professional courtesy. Treatment options will be explored with you in accordance to your specific needs. If you need inpatient treatment, a psychiatrist will be assigned to your care and will be supported by a team that works with you and your family to ensure your physical and mental health treatment needs are met. Our chemical dependency inpatient services include a medically managed detoxification program and an inpatient rehabilitation program for the adult population. All chemical dependency programs are voluntary and effectively combine the best of medical and social treatment models to achieve the best results. We believe that recovery is a process that takes place over time, in specific stages, with skills to be acquired and tasks to be accomplished. Inpatient Adolescent Medically Managed Drug & Alcohol Detoxification Mental Health Partial Hospitalization (Day Program) Trauma Resolution (Inpatient & Outpatient) DAY TREATMENT PROGRAMS Partial Hospitalization: Programs for psychiatric and chemical dependency issues are available for geriatrics, adults, adolescents and children. Patients spend the day at Montevista’s outpatient campus, five days a week, six hours a day receiving comprehensive treatment, returning home each evening. Intensive Outpatient: Programs for psychiatric and chemical dependency issues are available. These programs offer more frequent intensity of care than traditional outpatient therapy. Patients spend the three hours a day, up to five days a week at the Montevista outpatient campus, receiving comprehensive treatment. *Transportation and meals are provided for all Day Treatment Programs. **Clark County Home Bound School procedures are followed for all children and adolescents attending Day Treatment Programs. A financial counselor is available to discuss each individuals personal financial options and will work with clients without insurance coverage on a private-pay basis.
