Friday, December 26th Special “FROZEN” Sing-A-Long Movie Night (register at Member Services Desk) Monday, December 29th Journey to WSC’s “FROZEN” Wonderland! *meet Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, and loveable Olaf *get “FROZEN” hair braids or Olaf hair spikes *“FROZEN” FACE PAINTING and TATTOOS *Register at Member services, $10 fee per child *Space is Limited CHILD CARE INTRO CAMPS! These 4-week camps are a great way to introduce your child to a new sport and provide extra activity in their day. Cost: $12 per session or $3 daily. Register online or at Member Services. Toddler Time Camp, Ages 2-3 Mondays 10-10:30 a.m. Wednesdays 10-10:30 a.m. Developmentally appropriate gym activities that will focus on interaction, cooperation, and sharing in a small group setting. Tennis Camp, Ages 4-7 Tuesdays 10-10:30 a.m. This camp will give your child a basic introduction to tennis. Sports Camp, Ages 4-7 Thursdays 10-10:30 a.m. Fridays 10-10:30 a.m. Introducing your child to a variety of sports, this camp teaches game play, sports rules, and sportsmanship. KAILEE SOWERS (ON LEFT) Kailee, a freshman at Wheaton North, qualified for the state cross country meet. It is quite an accomplishment for a freshman to quality for this meet. The state meet will be held Saturday, November 8th. We wish Kailee the best! WSC MEMBER Accomplishments WSC STINGRAYS The following High School Girls (Stingrays) have been selected to represent their High School in the IHSA Sectional Meets to take place on November 15th at 1pm. Qualifying time standards must be met at this meet in order to advance to the IHSA State Swimming & Diving Meet to take place at Evanston High School on November 21/22. Glenbard North Co-op, St. Charles North Sectional: Kathleen Acord St. Charles North High School, St. Charles North Sectional: Hannah Olsen JIM HODGE (ABOVE) Successfully completed the Ironman Wisconsin! Jim the completed the 2.4 mile open water swim in 94 minutes and crossed the finish line in about 14 hours to earn the Ironman title! MYIA MILLER (ABOVE) Successfully completed the Ironman Wisconsin! She ranked 12 in her division. DICK HOLT (ON RIGHT) At 81 years young, Dick completed the Fox Valley Half Marathon on September 24, 2014. Even if you haven’t been using your racquet, the strings still lose their tension. Our knowledgeable tennis pros can advise you in choosing the perfect string and tension for your game. Personal Trainers will work with you to insure you get the maximum benefits and results. Sign up for this 3-week session at Member Services. Session will run Dec 1– Dec 21. TENNIS THANKSGIVING SHOOTOUT Friday, November 14, 2014, 7-9pm. $20 for adults, $12 for kids. Come enjoy some fun tennis drills led by WSC Tennis Pros. Fun social tennis night for the whole family. There will be a kids court with prizes. Drills will run from 7-9pm. Gobble up some refreshments after you play! CHILD CARE HOLIDAY DROP OFF SERVICE Want to shop alone this year? Take advantage of our Holiday Child Care Drop Off. Service is available on weekdays Nov 17Nov 28. Cost: $15 per child for 3 hours (additional children after 2nd child are free). A 30-minute interactive performance led by Ronald that offers children the opportunity to take part in fun-filled, energetic activities. The show is a part of McDonald’s overall active lifestyles initiatives teaching the importance of incorporating fitness and physical activity into everyday lives.
