Camp Albrecht Acres is a summer camp for people
with special needs. The camp was founded in 1975
and operates on over 40 acres of woodland. The
camp has admission to all regardless of ability to pay,
disability, race, color, creed, sex, religion, or political
affiliation.
The counselors are internationally recruited and go
through many training sessions to be able to give the
best care to the campers. Throughout the summer the
campers participate in many activities that include
crafts, swimming, hay wagon rides, cookouts, and
more. Join us for a summer of fun!
Special Needs
Summer Camp
Explore the outdoors and create memories during our
weeklong camps. Campers will create and rekindle
lifelong friendships that develop in their time at Camp
Albrecht Acres.
Our staff encourages all campers to try new things
and be as active as they like. Opportunities offered
include swimming, fishing, hiking, arts and crafts, weekly
dances, and parades.
Respite Weekends
Four respite weekends are offered during the fall, winter
and spring and give caregivers a much deserved
break from caring for their loved ones. Each weekend
has it’s own theme and all are uniquely different.
