TD Auto Finance Connect
Guide To Our Dealer Portal
Effective November 14, 2014
TD Auto Finance (TDAF) Connect –
Supporting Your Financing and Sales Work
TDAF Connect is the proprietary dealer portal for TD Auto FinanceTM,
which you can access at tdafconnect.com. When you do business
with us, you’ll find all the tools and customer information you need to
support you on TDAF Connect.
At TD Auto Finance, we understand how your business works and we
have designed TDAF Connect to make it easier for you to do more
business with us. This guide tells you what you need to know to get
going with TDAF Connect, and gives you easy-to-follow instructions for
finding what you’re looking for on the site.
1
Logging in to TDAF Connect:
Before anyone can log in to TDAF Connect, the individual at the dealership designated as the TDAF System Administrator must first
set up user names and passwords for anyone who will use the system. Once this critical first step is complete, users can view TDAF’s
Program Highlights, use EFT to manage cash flow and access Payment and Reserve data.
2
Administration Tab
New System Administrator login
and user set-up is easy. The System
Administrator should follow the
simple steps below when logging in
for the first time:
1 As the System Administrator, you should
have received a link embedded in the email
titled: Get Started with TDAF Connect from
email address welcome@tdafdealer.com
2 Enter your temporary User ID and password
and your dealer number (all provided in
the emails).
3 Click the Administration tab in the top
navigation and then click Users.
4 Click Add User on the left to set yourself
up as a user.
5 Complete the required fields of information
including:
a. P assword (which must be exactly
8 characters and include letters and
numbers) and,
b. P rofile (be sure to select “System
Administrator” from the drop-down
menu) and click SAVE.
6 Once your profile is saved you will
automatically be assigned a new User ID.
Record the assigned User ID and the new
password in a secure place where you can
access it for future reference.
7 Set up other dealership personnel as users
by clicking Add User for each. You will
follow the same process as outlined above
with the exception that you’ll select the
appropriate profile for each user.
ote: You must set a new password for
N
each user, so you should coordinate with
each user to have them choose their
own password before you set them up in
the system (new users don’t choose their
IDs – they are automatically assigned).
8 Once a user is set up, review and update
(where necessary) their default profile
settings. Click the Users link on the left,
select the user you wish to review/update
and then click the EDIT PROFILE button.
