Trojan OneCard & Refunds
How are refunds sent back to the student? There are several ways for this to occur; however, having your refund applied to
your Trojan OneCard makes the process very simple and convenient.
The Trojan OneCard is issued to new students when they register for classes in their first term at TROY.
Once the student receives his/her Trojan OneCard, the student must go to TrojanOneCard.com to activate their choice of refund delivery methods. The student should activate their choice within two business days.
A student may choose one of the following refund delivery methods:
1. Debit Card OneAccount (Easy Refund)
2. Direct deposit to a bank account of the student’s choosing
The Debit Card OneAccount (Trojan OneCard activated as a debit card) is tied to a fully functioning FDIC insured checking
account. There is no credit check to open this account. The student may use the debit card anywhere the MasterCard Debit
Card is honored. To avoid paying debit fees; choose credit after you swipe your card, and sign.

taken.

Nutrition Minor
Troy University offers a nutrition minor program through the Department of Kinesiology and Health
Promotion. A minor in nutrition is an excellent complement to many academic majors including Exercise
Science, Hospitality Sport & Tourism, Biology, Chemistry, Human Services, Social Work, Nursing,
Psychology, and pre-health professions programs. Nutrition courses provide academic preparation for
certification programs such as personal trainer or diabetic educator. Students may also take nutrition
courses as electives. All courses are offered conveniently online and will not interfere with course
schedules. The minor may be completed in one year. Troy University has partnerships with other
universities to accept all courses in the nutrition minor for transfer to undergraduate and graduate
programs in nutrition and dietetics.

Getting Started
Online education gives you the opportunity to advance your learning without having to come to the Troy
campus. The online courses are conducted entirely through the Internet, allowing you to receive assignments, submit coursework, and interact with your professor and other students via your computer. The
courses are primarily asynchronous, which means you don't have to be at your computer at the same time
as others. You will spend much of your time reading and responding by sending messages within the online classroom environment.
Advising
Once you are admitted to a Troy University online degree program you receive by email your administrative counselor and faculty advisor name for a graduate program and your professional counselor name for
an undergraduate program. If you are unsure of who your advising staff is please call toll-free at 800-4145756 or email at ask@troy.edu. Please be sure to have you student id number and your home location.
