AURORA WIND BAND In Piazza Lido, Monday 9th September, starting from 9.00 pm. The Aurora Wind Band of Cavallino‐Treporti was born in the far 1886, when a group of keen musicians decided to set up a band. A group people very close to each other by the passion for good music, which has been handed down for more than a century its experience to the current generations. The musical repertoire spans different styles , among those Latin American, International hit and the best dance music from the 70’s and 80’s. BASKETBALL GALA
Sunday 8th September at 8.30 pm in Piazza Lido: Union Lido and the Litorale Nord sport association organize a great basketball evening with the participation of the basketball group freestyle Da Move! BLU FLAG For the eighth year running the Riviera of Cavallino‐
Treporti has been awarded the ‘Blue Flag’ for its beaches, which is an annual award given by the FEE Italia for clean beaches. Founded in 1987, the European year of the environment, the campaign spans over various European countries of the FEE, Foundation for Environmental Education. The ‘Blue Flag’ for the beaches is assigned for: the quality/cleanliness of the water, of the coastline, the facilities and the safety, as well as general overall environmental education. CORTINA AND THE DOLOMITS Departure from the campsite at 7.30 am for the Alps. Drive passed Vittorio Veneto and the Passo del Fadalto, arriving at the Lake Santa Croce, where you can stop off for a break. You will then head for Ponte nelle Alpi and for Longarone, that reminds us of the tradegy of 1963. You will then arrive at Cadore, where you can admire the summits of the dolomites; the Sorapis, the Pelmo, the Antelao, the Cinque Torri. You will arrive in Cortina at 12.00 noon, and go off for your lunch break (not included). In Cortina you can use the cable railway to go up the Mount Faloria, where you will see a breathtaking panoramic view over Cortina and the surrounding mountains: Tofane and Mount Cristallo. You will leave Cortina at 3pm and after 30 minutes you will be at Lake Misurina, where there will be a break before embarking on the return journey, with another break at the Lake Santa Croce. Approx. arrival on the campsite at 7.00 pm Tuesday 10th September

If you decide to visit Venice by yourself, you can use the excellent bus‐boat public service.
