“T” Type - Small bore long reach measuring units and
extensions
T measuring units and extension rods enable deep holes, smaller than 0335''(8.5mm) diameter to be measured. T extensions are only available in
one piece lengths in accordance with drawings and details below. The upper
ends of the T extensions carry the standard male thread to suit the holders
E103, E104 & E105. Special contact needles are required for T type
measuring heads. Each EMT (EM1/T) set is supplied with two 2 1/2'' (64mm)
extensions and reach E2/T (EM2/T) set with one 2 1/2'' (64mm) extension.
Heads 021/T to 029/T can be supplied in FB type for blind bores and
required needles to suit. They are also available with carbide inserts on
through bore versions.

Ideal for gauging bores at a specific
depth to check shallow diameters,
taper, clear interruptions, etc.
Doubles as a reference stop and
positioner for small precision piece
parts. Knurled ring works against
split collect for positive on any
regular (.315'' dia).
Depth Extension
