The Northern Territory Championships have been conducted in the Northern Territory since
1979. The Championships are held at the same time during alternate years in Darwin and Alice

HALL OF FAME AND NT TENPIN BOWLING SPORT AWARDS
The Northern Territory Tenpin Bowling Association has a Hall of Fame and Tenpin Sport Awards Committee. The Tenpin Sport Awards are presented annually to recognise bowler achievements during the previous
year and this is usually done at a dinner prior to the NT Championships. Biannually the Association will induct at least one new Hall of Famer as recognition for achievements and/or volunteer work for the Association over many years. As our Championships are now in their 33rd year this recognition has now begun in
earnest. Our current Hall of Fame includes Roy Andrews, Debbie Halprin, George Voukolos and Jim Polkinghorne.
