Congregational News Join The Prosperous Life 2016 Two of our Sunday School teens graduated high school in June and have headed off to new adventures! Olivia Tiffany graduated from Highland high school and is now stationed at Great Lakes Naval Academy. Aurianna Chopin (aka Turtle) graduated from Munster high school and is now attending Indiana University Northwest. She is pursuing a degree in Nursing. We wish Olivia and Aurianna great success! To claim the abundant life that is our divine inheritance, we are required to take action and step out in faith. You are invited to participate in The Prosperous Life 2016. In joining TPL 2016, you help support all that we do here at Unity. In return, you receive special benefits, including an invitation to the TPL Thank You Brunch, articles on prosperity and abundance, counseling support, and complimentary prosperity classes. Congratulations to Kiersten Goodwin, who graduated from Valparaiso University in June, majoring in Communications and English. Kirsten has been a lifelong student of Unity and grew up in our Sunday School (her proud mom is Della Lovick). Kiersten now works at The Times in Munster and at Michaels in Schererville. You can participate in TPL on one of two levels: as a Tither or as a Committed Giver. Say “yes” to the promise given in scripture: “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse and see if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour down for you an overflowing blessing.” Malachi 3:10 To join, complete a TPL 2016 card and return it to the office by Sunday, November 1st. Our beloved friend, Barbara Dmytraz, passed away on July 25. Barb was like a sister to Norene Gragido and a dear friend of Dan Earles. For many years, Norene and Barb decorated our sanctuary and halls for Christmas and helped with numerous special events. Barb is deeply missed. After taking the Indiana State Bar exam in July, Dani DeWinter is now working as an Immigration Americore Fellow for Human Rights at Central West Justice Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. Dani and her sister Sami have attended UNWI their whole lives; Joe and Sheila Hunt are their proud parents. Christina Ochoa and Michael Morrison were married on the beautiful campus of Bethel College in Mishawauka on August 8, with Rev. Geraldine officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Morrison serve on our Youth & Family Ministry Team and teach in East Chicago. We wish them a lifetime of love, joy, and abundance!
