Park Histor y/Facts The Alimagnet Dog Park opened July 31, 2001 and is an enclosed, seven-acre, offleash canine exercise area located in Burnsville, Minnesota. It is owned and operated by the City of Burnsville and cared for by a stewardship group called PACK (People of Alimagnet Caring for K9s). The Alimagnet Dog Park is located at 1200 Alimagnet Parkway - off County Road 11. There are approximately 500 permit holders that use the park. In 2005, Dog Fancy magazine placed Alimagnet Dog Park in the nation’s top three. Ongoing Microchip Clinic PACK’s Mission Statement: To support the ongoing care and success of the Alimagnet Dog Park in Burnsville, Minnesota. Our commitment includes: Improving the park through fund-raising and volunteer efforts; Educating the community of park users through newsletter publications and on-site events; Protecting and enhancing the land through environmental stewardship goals & activities. We are advocates for additional off-leash canine companion parks in Dakota County. We believe that these parks improve the quality of life for our citizens, their canines, and their communities. Clearly Lake Animal Center will sponsor a Microchip Clinic at a discounted cost of $45 to attendees at the Dog Days Event on August 7th. Microchips, which are promoted by the AKC, provide a permanent identification process with an international owner database/registry. Live Music Woodsmoke & Der Hoffinator Band from 10am-3pm.
