Who was he? He was a ‘Quintessentially American’ story “It’s not too late to start now” –Saburo Muraoka Saburo Muraoka Elementary School • Among founders of Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park. • Contributed to Friendship Bell on San Diego’s Shelter Island. • Discussion of a Friendship Garden, Community Garden, or combination at the new school.
