The Gaucho Way of Preparing Meat
Our Unique Concept Fogo de Chão features continuous tableside service of 16 different delectable cuts of beef, pork, lamb and chicken. Our concept also offers a sumptuous gourmet salad bar with fresh cut vegetables, and a variety of traditional side dishes to complement the meats. Patrons control their service with a small green and red-sided chip. The green side signals the gaucho chefs to bring out skewers of sizzling meats to the table, while the red side indicates a stopping point. To resume service, simply display the green side again. Fogo de Chão: The Original Taste of Southern Brazil Fogo de Chão is the ideal place for both business and leisure dining. It awes its patrons with quality, delicious food and excellent service, while keeping the culinary tradition alive. In Rio Grande do Sul (Southern Brazil), herds of cattle graze the state’s vast pastures, providing Brazil with meats for the famous “churrasco” barbecues – a centuries old “gaucho” (Southern Brazilian cowboy) tradition. © 2015 Fogo de Chão, Inc.
