Our festival features over 115 artisans with 13 different media along Carroll Creek Linear Park and Carroll Street. 11 live bands on the Brewers Alley Live Music Pavilion stage, a Festival Family Center, food, demonstrations and fun for the whole family! Carroll Street, Frederick MD 21701 Live Demonstrations SATURDAY, JUNE 7 HOOD COLLEGE will be providing live pottery demonstrations and will have completed works available highlighting different techniques of the craft. 10am-6pm International Children’s Films, Building-wide Gallery Exhibits, Boys & Girls Club of Frederick County Exhibit, and Summer Camp Sample Gallery MARYLAND WOODTURNERS will be showcasing their skills as they create artwork through their well-known method of wood turning. 11am-2pm Triaxial Weaving Workshop with Mary Klotz* Noon-5pm Mobile Phone Photo Booth, and Drop-in Art Activities for all ages (see listing in left column) 1 -4pm Charcoal Portrait Demo with Lesa Cook THE POTTERS GUILD OF FREDERICK will also be providing live demonstrations of clay artwork utilizing a clay wheel. AUTISM ARTREACH will be featuring their community art project; The Autism Awareness wall. Attendees can purchase and design tiles at the festival. Tile purchase supports Autism Artreach. MS. FREDERICK will be offering face painting for kids.
