With the word beautiful we ask you to leave the top of the word
I am a mother of 4 beautiful boys, one of whom is an Angel. My son Harrison was born on the 14th of September 2010. He was diagnosed with an incurable condition, (‘Diaphramatic Hernia’) and died on the 15th of September 2010. Following our loss, the Mater organised for a professional photographer to take photo’s of our last precious moments together. After we received these beautiful printed memories I created an album to preserve them. I realised I could do something positive in Harrison’s memory and for the hospital who had cared for us during our difficult time. Being an avid scrap booker, I embarked upon creating albums for the parents who had gone through the same experience. I now donate 6x6 Baby albums to the hospital for the parents who have lost their babies and this is where I require your assistance. We are asking for scrappers to make up 6x6 scrapbook layouts, please be mindful that these albums are for families that have lost their precious baby so we do ask that they are not to bright in colouring and you do be careful of what word paper taht you use, we do ask that you do not use papers such as goo goo type papers. We also ask that you leave room for a photo the size of half a 6x4 (standard photo). Ideas of words that can be used on a layout are Love, Treasure, Precious, my angel, family, adore. Some Samples of layouts; With the word beautiful we ask you to leave the top of the word without any adhesives so that the photo can be slipped under it. The above is some samples of layouts with photos and what the end results are for our families, and below are some examples of layouts that have been done without photos. The above layout has one of our chosen poems in it. Most layouts just need to be kept simple, and don’t really need alot of embellishments. Our Albums all finished ready to go to their families Our albums go to families done like below, with a beautiful ribbon and booties and a tag which says made with love in memory of my son Harrison. We are also introducing braclets that have been handmade with beads in a little bag that is also attached to our tag, they are made with love in memory of Jay, one of my friends lost a baby and she wanted to add braclets, she now helps with Harrison’s Little Wings Inc. Our albums have 10 pages, which means it takes 20 6x6 scrapbook layouts to fill an album. In each album they have little plastic sleeves already in them. We raise money to buy these albums. To cut cost we do use 1 piece of cardstock but we scrap front and back, just to be a bit more cost effective. This is entirely up to you to do this as well, or you can do individual pages. Inside we also include an information card on what to do and what size photos, we also include photo tabs so that people only need to go out and get their photos developed Poems Here is some chosen poems that we put into our albums, feel free to add these to some of the layouts Tiny Angel Tiny Angels rest your wings sit with me for awhile. How I long to hold your hand, And see your tender smile. Tiny Angel, look at me, I want this image clear.... That I will forget your precious face Is my biggest fear. Tiny Angel can you tell me, Why you have gone away? You weren't here for very long.... Why is it, you couldn't stay? Tiny Angel shook his head, "These things I do not know.... But I do know that you love me, And that I love you so". Author Unknown The world may never notice If a snowdrop doesn’t bloom, Or even pause to wonder If the petals fall too soon. But every life that ever forms, Or ever comes to be, Touches the world in some small way For all eternity. The little one we long for Was swiftly here and gone. But the love that was then planted Is a light that still shines on. And though our arms are empty, Our hearts know what to do. Every Beating of our hearts Says that we do love you. Author Unknown. You never said "I’m leaving" You never said goodbye You were gone before i knew it And only god knew why A million times i need you a million times i cried If love alone could have saved you You never would have died In life i loved you dearly In death i love you still In my heart you hold a place That no one could ever fill It broke my heart to lose you But you didn’t go alone For part of me went with you The day god took you home Author Unknown Thank you so much for your offer to help, I hope this gives you all the information that you need.
