Housing
Housing is independently owned and operated. Morey’s Piers has relationships with area
housing owners and supplies a list of available housing.
The types of accommodations are typically apartments (flats) and rooming houses. It will be your
responsibility to make arrangements for housing. We will make every reasonable effort to assist
you in your housing search.
RENT Housing costs vary depending on several factors: amenities, arrival date and type of
housing. Rent is usually paid weekly. Expect to be required to pay a security deposit (usually one
week’s rent) and your first week’s rent upon arrival.
STANDARD OF LIVING Most housing in Wildwood is adequate. It can most accurately be
compared to cheap college/university housing. You will want to find a safe, clean, conveniently
located place, but keep in mind you won’t spend much time there so it doesn’t need a lot of extras.
Do not expect to walk into flats with air conditioning, satellite TV, and pools out back (although
there are a few places with these amenities). Accommodations are furnished and usually provide
bed linens and cooking supplies.
Arrival Information
Prior to your arrival you will receive several informational emails from Morey’s Piers
explaining arrival information including housing, transportation, and applying for a
social security number. Please check your email consistently.
Once you arrive you will find that it is easy to get around. Everything you will need (grocery
stores, laundry facilities, restaurants, shopping, nightlife and clubs) is within walking distance
of your accommodations and work. The only time you will need to use public transportation is
when you travel outside of Wildwood.
