The business began 15 years ago when president and founder, Craig Shuler, started his first stores in Eau Claire and Stevens Point. Shuler had always liked the business, and found an even greater interest in it while attending college. Years later, Shuler was able to turn something he enjoyed into a very successful and personal business. The Green Bay store is run by customer service representative Sheryl Biersteker, digital design specialist Anne Marie Bartella and store manager Kimberly Compton. “We are all like family here,” says Bartella. “We have a great relationship with the clients, and we feel their business very personally. When we get clients that come back, it’s like your neighbor coming over for a visit.” While DigiCOPY is a statewide company, the Green Bay store has been serving the area since August of 2014 when they moved from their previous location on the campus of UWGB, to their current store at 211 East Walnut Street. “At the time we were located within the campus, and did most of our work for the school. We printed their exams and syllabuses, but we hadn’t done much else because people just didn’t know that we were there,” says Biersteker. DigiCOPY really started to thrive when they moved to downtown Green Bay. “We got to produce more products once we moved, people knew where we were now, and we got to begin forming awesome relationships with customers, while giving them a quality product,” says Compton. “We feel really lucky that we get to be a part of the growth that Green Bay has been experiencing. The feeling of being a part of the community and getting to be a small personal business is just so exciting for us,” says Biersteker. DigiCOPY specializes in everything from signs and banners, to magnets, calendars, business cards and oversized scanning and printing. They do it all with an attention to detail. “We do so many different kinds of prints, the options are endless,” says Compton. “While we have multiple options and products, we also maintain a very high quality standard. The products that come out of our office are sure to please, and if it doesn’t, we will change it until it’s perfect.” “The ultimate goal here is to give the client what they want,” adds Biersteker. There are many instances in which the team at DigiCOPY has been able to help clients realize their dreams. “During Artstreet,” recalls Bierstek, “there was a girl selling prints of hers right around the corner from us. This had been her first time doing anything like that, and she sold so many more prints than she thought, and actually ended up selling out a few times. Thanks to our unique hours, we were able to help her print more copies of her art!” The Green Bay team says that it’s the location, warm downtown feeling and flexible hours that keep the customers coming back. “My favorite thing about my job has been getting to help people realize their dreams. We have bound coloring books and a story that was written by a young boy, and the look of pride on their faces makes everything so worthwhile,” says Compton. Final thoughts: “The best part about being a Greater Green Bay Chamber member to me, is the sense of community that comes along with it. We do not do very much traditional advertising, so this is such a great way to network and market in the community, which in some ways is more important that traditional advertising,” says Shuler.
