2016 SUMMER CAMP TRIP DESCRIPTIONS
ALL GRADES
Trips are listed alphabetically. All trips are pre-paid before camp begins. Trips are on a first
come-first serve basis. There is no exchanging of trips with other camp participants. Please
note which trips where food is included, and which trips have either an early drop-off or late
return time.
Breakwater Beach (4th – 8th Graders) - $32.00
A state-of-the-art water park with one of the largest interactive play area on the North Atlantic
Coast. The renovation of Jenkinson’s Breakwater Beach Water park at Casino Pier”
(Formally Water Works) offers campers a fun and exciting family attraction. Pizza, Chips and a
Drink will be provided.
Build a Bear (K-3rd Graders) - $20.00
Participants will go to the Freehold Raceway Mall. Here, everyone is empowered to imagine,
and every bear begins a story. Building a furry friend is building so much more. Bear and an
outfit are included in the price. Campers can bring their lunch or purchase lunch at the food
court.
Camp Field Day (All Grades) - $30.00
Campers will enjoy games and activities at our very own Justice Complex in Jackson. There will
be a catered meal provided for campers that register for Field Day. Campers will enjoy hours of
fun with different planned activities and bounce houses. Campers will also be able to use brand
new Splash Park. Campers should bring a towel and a change of clothes.
Candlewood Swim Club (All Grades) - $7.00
Candlewood Swim and Racquet Club is one of the premier pool clubs in Monmouth County.
Candlewood offers an Olympic size swimming pool, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court
and a full service snack bar and grill. It is recommended to bring a towel and sunscreen. Food is
available for purchase or participants can bring their lunch. **Campers must be able to swim.
No inflatable arm bands or life preservers permitted. **
Casino Pier (4th – 8th Graders) - $25.00
Stroll through the variety of rides our amusement park offers situated on a classic Jersey Shore
pier, extending into the heart of the Atlantic Ocean. Plenty of rides, cool ocean breezes, and a
spectacular view, the Casino Pier amusement park has something for everyone!

Ceramics (All Grades) - $12.00
On-site activity - Campers will complete an age appropriate ceramic piece.
Chuck E Cheese (K-3rd Graders) - $17.00
Chuck E. Cheese's features age appropriate games, rides, prizes, food and entertainment that
children of all ages from toddlers to big kids will love. Pizza, a drink and tokens are included in
the price.
Combat Sports (4th-8th Graders) - $25.00
Campers are issued state of the art outdoor laser tag gear. Each player immediately feels their
adrenaline racing as they are placed into combat mission groups. Each group is then given a
Combat Sports mission briefing by their Field Marshal. Each Combat Sports mission can have
several different tasks or assignments. Teams then work together to strategically plan their
mission and attempt to win the Combat Sports laser tag mission. Pizza and soda are included in
the price
Delaware River Tubing (6th – 8th Graders) - $34.00
Campers will enjoy 3 to 4 hours of fun tubing on the Delaware River, just north of where George
Washington historically crossed. Each admission includes a free BBQ meal at "The Famous
River Hot Dog Man", halfway down the river!

Freedom Fest (All Grades) - $15.00
Allentown, NJ - Campers will enjoy the Feast’s rides, attractions and entertainment. Food is
available for purchase.
Funplex (All Grades) – K-1st ($15.00), 2nd-3rd ($20.00), 4th-8th ($28.00)
The Funplex is a spectacular entertainment center. Exciting indoor attractions and arcade
activities make this a great place to visit. K-1st Graders will enjoy unlimited foam frenzy,
bumper cars plus 10 arcade tokens. 2nd & 3rd Graders will enjoy unlimited inside attractions
plus 10 arcade tokens, excludes go carts and bowling, 4th – 8th graders will enjoy unlimited
indoor and outdoor attractions plus water park and bowling. 4th – 8th Graders should bring a
towel and sunscreen. Campers can bring or purchase lunch.
Fun time America (K-3 Graders) – K-1st ($16.00), 2nd-3rd ($20.00)
K-1 Graders – Fun time Package, which includes unlimited carnival rides, unlimited bounce
area, 25 game tokens and a slice of pizza and a drink. 2nd – 3rd Graders - Fun Time Deluxe
Package that includes unlimited carnival rides, unlimited bounce area, 1 game of laser tag, 1 rock
wall climbing adventure, 30 game tokens and a slice of pizza and a drink.
Get Air (All Grades) - $22.00
Campers will enjoy an indoor trampoline park. Get Air is successfully operating some of the
largest trampoline parks in the world. Price includes pizza, a drink, and a pair of socks.

Jackson Skating (All Grades) - $8.00
Participants will be able to enjoy open skating along with other games and dances like the
chicken dance and the hokey pokey. Roller skates are included in the price. In line skates are
available for an extra fee. There is also a snack bar available for to purchase items or
participants can bring their lunch.
Jenkinsons Aquarium (K-3 Graders) - $6.00
Campers will enjoy the aquarium. Exhibits such as Atlantic sharks, Pacific sharks, coral reefs,
penguins, alligators and seals give you the opportunity to get up close to animals from around the
globe. At the conclusion of the aquarium tour the campers will eat lunch on the boardwalk that
they can bring or purchase.
Jenkinsons Rides (K-3rd Graders) - $15.00
Campers will enjoy a fun filled day at Jenkinsons Pier. Food is available for purchase or campers
can bring their lunches.

Johnsons Corner Farm (K-3rd Graders) - $18.00
Campers will enjoy playtime in the Discovery Barnyard. This trip will also include a hayride
and picking of any 2 of our summer crops, use of the picnic area and a visit to the animal farm
and obstacle course. Campers should bring lunch, a towel, and a change of clothes.
Keansburg (4th-8th Graders) - $30.00
Amusement Park and Runaway Rapids Water Park – Unlimited Amusement Park 2 hours of
Water Rides – This trip will have a departure time of 9:00 a.m. – All Campers signed up for this
trip should arrive on site by 8:30 a.m.

Lakewood Blue Claws: (4th – 8th Graders) - $26.00
Campers will spend the afternoon at First Energy Park in Lakewood NJ, home of the World
Champion Philadelphia Phillies. The park offers something for people of all ages. Price includes
a lunch buffet of hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, soda and drinks in the parks Party Deck.
Lets Bloom Together (K-3rd Graders) - $7.00
On Site Activity – Campers will be introduced to different types of flowers. They will be taught
how to maintain and grow their specific flower through a fun interactive lesson. Each camper
will plant a flower in a flower pot and decorate the pot.
Medieval Times: (2nd-8th Graders) - $37.00
Guests will surrender to an age of bravery and honor and witness epic battles of steel and steed
during their show. As campers are thrilled to a rousing live jousting tournament, and marvel at
awe-inspiring horsemanship and falconry, Medieval Times serves a four-course meal.

Movies (All Grades) - $15.00
Campers will attend movies at the Marquee Cinemas located on route 37, Toms River. Movies
will be rated G or PG. Price includes small popcorn and a small drink.
**THIS TRIP IS AN EARLY DROP-OFF, CAMPERS SHOULD BE AT SITE BY 8:30AM**
Monster Mini Golf (K-3rd Graders) - $17.00
Monster Mini Golf is an exciting indoor monster themed glow in the dark 18-hole miniature golf
course that offers a host of fun activities at every turn. Whether you're visiting for the first time,
or the hundredth, you feel the excitement and adventure of playing mini golf among a scary but
cool monster décor with custom and animated props at every turn. A $5 arcade game card, a
slice of pizza and a drink is included in the price.
OMG Pizza (K-3rd Graders) - $16.00
Campers will create their own pizza and will make their own sundae. Pick your pizza crust,
sauce, cheeses and toppings to create your own custom pizza. You make it and we'll bake it in 3
minutes. Our ingredient and your artistic creativity fused to make a one of a kind culinary
delight. Campers will also enjoy the on-site arcade.
Pirates Island (K-3rd Graders) - $21.00
Come Sail the Pirates on the Manasquan. Campers will enjoy a pre-pirate training camp
including tattoos and fitting for a special pirate vest. Campers will travel along the beautiful
Manasquan River to attempt to locate the Brethren treasure map lost for hundreds of years. After
the map is located campers will navigate the ship to the lost treasure and recover the bounty.
Pizza and Soda Provided.
Popcorn Park Zoo (K-3rd Graders) - $6.00
Popcorn Park Zoo was established in 1977 for the sole purpose of providing a refuge for wildlife
that were sick, elderly, abandoned, abused, or injured, and which could no longer survive in its
natural habitat. Fee includes popcorn to feed the animals. Campers to bring their own lunch to
eat in the parks picnic area.
Ride the Ducks (4th-8th Graders) - $40.00
Ride The Ducks is the nation’s largest amphibious tour operator and amphibious vehicle
manufacturer. After our ride, we will enjoy a nice lunch at the Hard Rock Café. Campers will
have a choice of Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Barbeque Pulled Pork
Sandwich, Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Pasta with Marinara Sauce, and Classic
Chicken Caesar Salad.
River Boat Tour (4th-8th Graders) - $31.00
Campers will have a fabulous time on the River Lady. The upper deck offers the perfect
atmosphere for enjoying a memorable meal. You’ll find the scenery breathtaking. Lunch is
included in this tour.

Six Flags Great Adventure & Hurricane Harbor (4th-8th Graders) - $5.00
Campers will enjoy Rides and Fun at Six Flags and the Water park of Hurricane Harbor.
SEASON PASSES HAVE TO BE PROCESSED ALREADY. No outside food permitted.
Lockers are available for a fee for personal belongings. Participants must have a season pass or
ticket to attend.

Tropical Island Adventure (4th -8th Graders) - $21.00
Campers will enjoy a cruise up and down the Manasquan River while listening to today’s music.
The boat will stop off at Treasure Island where Campers will get off the boat and tour the island.
Pizza and a drink included in the price.

2016 CAMPER DISCIPLINE POLICY
The Department of Recreation and Senior Services reserves the right to
impose any discipline, up to and including expulsion from camp . All
disciplinary actions will be documented and filed. The following are
examples of mis conduct that will lead to written warnings and/or phone
calls home, suspension, and/or expulsion from camp program;
A. Abusive/Profane Language – any abusive and/or profane language
used towards other campers or staff members

Welcome to Jackson Township’s Summer Camp!
The administration, coordinators, and staff of the Department of Recreation and Senior Services
would like to welcome both the campers and parents to our Summer Camp Program. This
discipline policy has been prepared as a guide to familiarize the campers and the parents with
valuable information regarding the policies and procedures, which will make your experience at
Summer Camp successful and rewarding.
We suggest that parents and campers review the material presented in the policy and become
familiar with the camp procedures. We also encourage the campers to be actively engaged in all
that is offered here at Summer Camp. We ask the campers to take pride in themselves here at
camp, and in their community. Let’s have a great summer!!
