NURSING HOME FOR ELDERLY, MONFALCONE PROJECT Works for the realization of a new nursing home for elderly not self-sufficient people in Monfalcone (1st and 2nd phase) SITE Monfalcone (GO) CLIENT Municipal Administration of Monfalcone (GO) TASK Preliminary, definitive and executive planning, works management, safety management BUILDING COST € 5.017.632,33 SUBJECTS IN CHARGE INARCO srl (ing. It is a sheltered accommodation for not self-sufficient people with 60 beds connected with an existing home-hotel. The choice of the location enables the guests of the new structure to use the general facilities already present in the home-hotel (cult place, gym, kitchen, laundry, etc.). The home-hotel and the sheltered house can function indipendently but are connected through a covered and heated pedestrian tunnel. The new building is also totally independent in terms of structures and installations. The building develops only on the ground floor in order to facilitate the transfer of the guests throughout the building. It houses two residential areas with 30 beds each and a group of specific collective and health facilities. It is surrounded by a green area designed as a garden. Because of financial reasons the construction was divided in two phases: the first corresponds with half of the residential area, and the second one with the rest of the residential area, the common and collective facilities and the connecting tunnel between the new accommodation and the home-hotel.
