Over the past year, we have went through a lot of changes within our community. When we started MIA, we only supported games that we were able to run
game servers for. Well times are changing and more and more games are not offering dedicated servers. Many games are also Play 4 Free now instead of buying them
at a high retail price. With all the changes in the way games are being played
online, we also need to make changes to our community so we can cater to all sorts
of gamers. This is where you as a member can step up and make a difference in
where MIA goes from here.
Over the next several weeks we will be talking with the members and asking them
what direction they would like to see MIA go. Do we only support games that we
can run dedicated servers for? Do we start mainly supporting Play 4 Free games? Is
there a compromise between them both? How do we setup leadership for new
games members want to bring into the community? These are just a few of the
questions we need to answer before we can move forward as a gaming community.
We hope to schedule a few meetings over the next month or so to get feedback and
ideas you guys have, to help our community to continue to grow and be around for
another 8 years. It is the members that have made our community what it is today,
not me and I want to thank you guys for that.
I haven't been able to get a newsletter out in a couple months so I decided to make
some changes in the way I do it so it won’t be too much to get out each month. I
will start doing a mini newsletter monthly. It will include a short write up from me
or another Council member and include promotions for you guys so you can rank up
within the clan. I will start doing our big newsletter with info from each division
quarterly. This will give us ample time to get the info from each division.
We are in big need of members to help out with departments within our community. Our advertising department doesn't really have anyone in it at the moment.
This department helps to spread the word about MIA throughout internet gaming
forums. If you are interested please contact me. Your help with this would really
make a big difference in recruiting new members into the community. We also
need help with our Graphics department and our Recruiting department to help
with new members that come into the community. If you are interested in helping
out with either of these please talk with WRXS (Andrea). Thanks in advanced.
Thanks for everyone’s patience over the past few months that I have not been
around. Special thanks to all the members who stepped up and helped the community to continue to strive. The dedication from you all continues to amaze me.

and Division Leaders. We
are making these requirements to promote a team
building environment.
When playing in game with
our members you must be
in Teamspeak.
Each month your division

roster to see who has or
hasn't been active on our
site. Here are the guidelines for member activity:

you have been away for a while and are active again please send me a PM so I
can get you added to the list of promotions. We will be moving members to
inactive who are not active on our website and Teamspeak. All members
should be active in our community and posting in the forums a few times a month is a part
of this. There are games and many other posts that you can be a part of to help our community to stay strong. We have added a lot of great people to our community. Our members are working together on new ideas and projects that will help us to become even
stronger and more popular in the gaming world. New ideas from our members help our
community to grow and prosper. So please feel free to add your ideas to the forums.
The dedication and donations to the MIA community shows how much our members care
about the health and growth of our community. It is a great year to say you are MIA! We
have all created a great thing here and should be proud to be a part of it. As I always say,
