2015 has been a great year for the
LIND Group. We have taken some really
positive steps forward and are delivering
an even better Harley-Davidson®
experience. I personally want to thank
you all for your continued support; we
can’t do it with out you, so thank you for
choosing us.
We are proud to win the MCN Multi
Franchise Dealer of the Year for London
and The East. It’s a fantastic achievement, and one that we have
been longing to reach. For us, it endorses the hard work of our
passionate team, and of course the dedication and support from
our loyal customers.
Throughout the year we’ve been encouraged by the progress
of Newmarket Harley-Davidson® following the acquisition of
the dealership in late 2013. As a result of significant changes
throughout 2014, and the addition our Norwich store, the team
led by Garry has recorded a 41% growth in sales over the year,
which in real terms makes it the largest H-D® dealership in the UK.
The best thing about this is that there are now many more people
enjoying Harley-Davidson® motorcycles in Norfolk, Suffolk and the
surrounding areas.
Toby and the Guildford Harley-Davidson® team have enjoyed
another stellar year; we are all really proud of what we have
achieved with the dealership in a relatively short period time. As
one of the top H-D® businesses in the UK a massive community of
H-D® enthusiasts has developed. This year LIND Tours began and
has seen significant growth, with our first European tours being
undertaken with guests from all over the world.
The opening of Reading Harley-Davidson® has also been a
significant milestone for LIND. We’re really pleased with the store
and team led by Mike. The dealership is the new benchmark for
a Harley-Davidson® retail experience in Europe. Fortunately, we
already have so many amazing customers visiting the store, and
throughout 2015 we have run our first of many bike nights. If you
haven’t been to one of our bike nights already, then you should;
they’re a great opportunity to meet like-minded bikers, browse the
bikes, and enjoy some food with live music.
It has been fantastic to see you all at various events and parties
this year. The Model Year 16 launch events at all stores were great
and it is fantastic to see how popular the new bikes are proving to
be so far. The Shere Hill Climb, Copdock Show and the Norfolk
300 are other events we have been involved with, so thank you to
everyone who played a part in them.
This year we have focused our own LIND branding, highlighting
LIND as the Automotive Family, a family company, a family of cool
brands and also a family of customers that enjoy the premium
branded experiences that we deliver. We hope this year you have
felt part of the family! So from our family to yours, we hope that you
have a fantastic Christmas and a happy and healthy 2016!
