This tutorial will show you how to make a clothespin bag from a placemat.
Materials:
*1 Placemat (approximately
19 in. x 14 in.)
*Thread
*1 Hanger
*Straight Pins
*Sewing Machine

1. With the wrong side of
the placemat facing up, fold
the bottom up 7 inches and
pin in place.
2. Sew each side using a ¼
inch seam allowance. I used
a triple stitch for stability,
but stitching twice with a
single stitch would work as
well.
3. Place the hanger at the
top of the placemat and fold
the placemat over it. The
folded part should measure 1
inch from the hanger to the
open edge.

4. Using a triple stitch (or
stitch twice for stability) and
a ¼ inch seam allowance, sew
the hanger and placemat
together.
That’s it! Just 3 seams and you now have a clothespin bag.
