CUSTOM VISITING PROGRAM
Jacobs University Bremen is happy to work with partner institutions to develop
and offer courses necessary for the successful completion of their students’
curriculum (with special focus on study abroad opportunities for STEM fields).

Jacobs University Bremen cooperates with top institutions across the globe within the framework of a bilateral student exchange. We cooperate on the university level and do not restrict
exchange students to the course choices of their major. Jacobs University’s bilateral agreement
is typically limited to two students per academic year and includes tuition-waivers for participating students.

Jacobs University offers a high degree of student services. From the time of arrival in Bremen to
the time of departure, study abroad students will be looked after by experienced staff members
including resident mentors and college office teams.

INDIVIDUALIZED
Your students will be able to choose any course for which they are academically qualified from
our study program portfolio and compose their individualized study abroad semester.
COSTS
Study abroad fees are comprised of tuition fee (€ 10,000 per semester), room and board
(€ 2,250 per semester) and university fee and semester ticket (around € 200 per semester).
Participating students are required to pay room and board, university fee and semester ticket.
The tuition fee is covered by the partner institutions. Tuition waivers are available for exchange
partner institutions based on a reciprocal and balanced exchange.
