Item is heavy. Use care when handling. May require two adults for safe assembly. Maximum weight is 600 lbs. PREPARATION Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and diagram above. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the product. Contact customer service for replacement parts. Estimated Assembly Time: 30 minutes Tools Required for Assembly: two Allen wrenches, hex wrench, hex nut wrench and touch up paint (provided) ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1) Attach top Frame bar (A) to four legs (B). Align the holes at the four legs (B) with the holes at the end of the top frame bar (A). For each hole, insert an M8 x 105L Bolt (S) through an M8 metal washer (U), through one leg (B), through the top frame bar (A), through the other leg (B), through another M8 metal washer (U) and secure with an M8 nut (W). Don’t tighten completely. Then align the holes of one leg decoration (C) with the holes in two legs (B) by angling the leg decoration (C). For each hole, insert an M6 x 25L bolt (M) through the leg decoration (C) and secure into one leg (B). Repeat procedure for another leg decoration (C). See Fig.1. 2) Align the holes of one support triangle (Z) with the holes at the two legs (B). NOTE: Make sure the side of the 2 support triangle with the “Inside” sticker faces inside. Insert an M8 x 50L bolt (Q) through the support triangle (Z), through the top frame bar (A), through the support triangle (Z) again and secure with an M8 nut (W). Don’t tighten completely. Attach two lower ends of the support triangle (Z) to each of two legs by inserting an M8 x 45L bolt (P) through an M8 metal washer (U), through one leg (B), through the support triangle (Z) and secure with an M8 nut (W). Don’t tighten completely. Repeat procedure for the remaining support triangle. Securely tighten all the bolts from steps 1 and 2. See Fig.2. 3) Attach one arm (D) to the seat and back (E). From outside insert an M8 x 90L bolt (R) through an M8 metal washer (U), through the bottom hole of the arm (D), through an M8 x 18L plastic washer (Y), through the seat hole at the seat and back (E), through an M8 metal washer (U) and secure with an M8 nut (W). Don’t tighten completely. Then from outside insert an M6 x 85L bolt (O) through an M6 metal washer (T), through the top hole of the arm (D), through an M8 x 18L plastic washer (Y), through the back hole at the seat and back (E), through an M6 metal washer (T) and secure with an M6 nut (V). Don’t tighten completely. Repeat procedure for another arm (D). See Fig.3. 4) Place a long hanging bar (F) and a short hanging bar (G) on each double hook (AA). Attach a short hanging bar (G) to the front of the seat assembly by inserting an M6 x 65L bolt (N) (from inside to outside) through the sleeve in the front of the arm, through an M6 x 9L plastic washer (X), through the short hanging bar (G), through an M6 metal washer (T) and secure with an M6 nut (V). Don’t tighten completely. Repeat procedure for the other short hanging bar (G) and two long hanging bars (F). Now go back and tighten all nuts and bolts from steps 3 and 4. See Fig.4. 5) Then hang the entire seat assembly by the double hooks through the hanging rings at the top frame bar (A). See Fig.5. 6) Lift the canopy (H) on the top frame bar (A). Insert a black knob (BB) through the canopy (H) and secure into the top frame bar (A). Don’t tighten completely. Repeat procedure for the other side. Then securely tighten the two knobs. See Fig.6. 7) Attach one support canopy crossbar (K) to canopy (H) for each hole by inserting an M6 x 20L bolt (L) through an M6 metal washer (T), through the bracket of the support canopy crossbar (K) and secure into side canopy crossbar. Don’t tighten completely. Repeat procedure for another 3 support canopy crossbar (K). Securely tighten all bolts. See Fig.7. 8) Make sure that all bolts and nuts are tightened. Cover all bolts with bolt caps (AC, AE) and cover all nuts with nut caps (AD, AF). Then place the seat cushion (J) and back cushion (I) onto the seat and back (E) and attach with hook-and-loop fasteners. The swing is now ready for use. See Fig.8. CARE AND MAINTENANCE Wash with mild soap, rinse with water, let air dry. WARRANTY This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and applies to defects in materials and workmanship of your patio furniture provided your furniture is maintained with care and used only for personal, residential purposes. Frames are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one (1) year. Umbrella frames and bases are warranted for a period of one (1) year. Cushions, Straps and/or Wicker Weaves are covered for a period of one (1) year against defects in material or workmanship. Sling fabric is covered for a period of one (1) year against defects in material or workmanship. Exclusions: Items used for commercial, contract or other non-residential purposes; display models; items purchased “as is;” or items damaged due to acts of nature, vandalism, misuse or improper assembly are not covered. Discoloration or fading of the finish or fabrics as a result of exposure to the elements, chemicals or spills is not covered. Tabletop breakage, corrosion or rusting of hardware and damages to frames or welds caused by improper assembly, misuse or natural causes are not covered. If within the stated warranty period a product is found to be defective in material or workmanship, the purchaser must contact the manufacturer’s customer service department at 1-800-457-4652. The manufacturer, at its option, will repair or replace the defective parts. Warranty is to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Any replacement of warranted items will be in the original style and color or a similar style and color if the original is unavailable or has been discontinued. As some states do not allow exclusions or limitations on an implied warranty, the above exclusions and limitations may not apply.
