Noted architect and author Ted Wells will greet you with a cocktail and a roaring fire to warm you up, while a jazz pianist will play standards from the 20s and 30s to chill you down. The five-course dinner, using only locallysourced foods, will be a culinary journey evoking the history and tradition of the Bohemian art colony of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Mysterious symbols carved in the doors and massive redwood beams abound in this unique building. Throughout the evening, you’ll be celebrating Greene's belief that the true essence (and for our dinner, the true flavor) of symbols must be experienced to be understood.
