For More Information Visit: http://www.moonshadowsmalibu.com Petite White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake A layer of white cake is baked with a luscious blend of cheesecake, raspberries and white chocolate. Each cheesecake is decorated with pink chocolate shavings around the sides, a whipped cream puff and a pink chocolate heart on top. (9-Box) Petite Heart Cake A 3” heart shaped layer of fluffy white cake is topped with creamy strawberry mousse. Each heart is covered with white chocolate ganache and drizzled with red chocolate. (18-Box) Amor etto Cheesecake A cheesecake to fall in love with! This luscious cheesecake is blended with Amaretto di Saranno liqueur and chunks of amaretto cookies and baked on top of a graham cracker crust. The cheesecake is decorated with a layer of whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and each slice is finished with a chocolate dipped, heart-shaped shortbread cookie. (Cut-14) Neopolitan Cake This new cake is a delicious take on an old classic! A layer of chocolate cake, a layer of vanilla cake, and filled with creamy chocolate mousse. The entire dessert is covered in whipped cream frosting and then decorated with chocolate shavings around the bottom half of the cake and each slice is topped with a red chocolate heart. (Cut-14) Valentine Raspberry Cheese Bites Creamy cheesecake is blended with swirls of raspberry baked on a graham cracker crust. Marbled on top with raspberry preserves, each bite is decorated with a white chocolate puff & a red chocolate heart. (80-Box) *Large orders must be placed before February 8. Buratta, is a fresh Italian cheese made up of mozzarella and cream. The literal translation of Burratta from Italian to English means "buttery" and it is recognized by many as one of the best fresh cheeses in the world. Burrata is made of pulled curd or pasta filata cheese, which means that it's formed from the elastic curd of fresh milk, still warm and straight from the vat, but is formed not into a solid ball, but into a little hollow pouch, which is then filled with fresh cream and soft stringy bits of curd, the ritagli, or rags, remaining after mozzarella making. The cheese has a rich buttery flavor and it retains its fresh milkiness. The interesting flavor and the different textures inside and outside make it perfect for appetizers such as crostini or a caprese salad, pasta entrees, paninis, pizza & even desserts. Nogales is bringing in nice Honeydew but with some brown spotting issues. Red Watermelon crops are sizing down. CA Yellow Watermelon is done. Mini Watermelon available. PAPAYA Golden Sunrise, Hawaiian and Brazilian. PEARS CA Packing Bartlett, Red Pears & D’Anjou as well as Apple Pears, aka, Nashi, Yali & Asian Pears. WA packing Bartlett & Bosc. French Butter, Taylor Gold, Lowery Gold, Forelle, Comice, Red and Seckel are all available. PERSIMMONS CA Hachiya (the larger, softer of the two fruits with an incredible astringency when underripe) and Fuyu (the smaller, firm variety) will both go through early Winter. Sharon Fruit (a sweet, round Israeli Persimmon) is also possibly available from specialty vendors. PINEAPPLE Costa Rican Gold & Coliman Maradol. South African Baby Pineapple with edible core. Get them while you can! ARUGULA F all/Winter is peak Arugula season. ASPARAGUS Peruvian grass is the most abundant. Mexican grass is limited with supplies heavier on standard and large. CUCUMBERS Cooling trends are slowing down production & driving prices upwards from Baja/Nogales. DANDELION Green is easier to come by than red. LEAF LETTUCES Blister and epidermal peel could be more prevalent with all leaf items due to freezing temps. PEAS Snap Peas, Snow Peas, Pea Tendrils. English Peas now avail., albeit short. RHUBARB in 15 lb. cases are a very expensive from Washington. SORREL, RED variety 2 lb. pkgs. “living”...lead time!
