before your customer’s eyes, or a designer providing visual guidance to a CAD artist or model maker, the ability to create freehand sketches can prove invaluable to your business. Designer
Rémy Rotenier will show, through simple steps, how to draw and
shade first a gemstone and then a band, combining both into a
three-dimensional sketch that brings your jewelry to life. There
will also be opportunities to try your hand at sketching, so bring
a pad and mechanical pencil if you’d like to give it a go—no special artistic talent required!
