Why

Jetmaster?
Jetmaster’s patented convection heating
design increases the heating capacity of
normal brick fireplaces by as much as five
times. The convection heating system allows
the room to be heated in two ways: Firstly,
from radiated heat off the fireplace itself and
secondly, heat from the air that is heated as it
travels through the convection chamber.
Jetmaster has a no smoke guarantee.
All Jetmaster products are manufactured
according to strict ISO 9001 quality
specifications. Jetmaster gas fires are
approved by the LP Gas Association
of South Africa and the Australian Gas
Association.
Since 2002, Jetmaster is owned by JSE
listed company Argent Industrial Limited,
a group of steel suppliers and fabricators.
Huge capital expenditure programmes in
state of the art research and development
facilities initiated during 2003 ensure
continued quality improvement and increased
production levels.
Within the Jetmaster range of built-in
and free standing fireplaces there will
most certainly be a design that will suit
your requirements.
Wood and Anthracite
Jetmaster’s new range of slow combustion
stoves are multi fuelled and use either
wood or anthracite. A slow burning
Jetmaster will ensure that your home is
heated thoroughly in the coldest of winter
temperatures.
Gas
A Jetmaster gas fire offers the ambience of
a solid fuel fire without the fuss and hassle
of a wood burning fire. The flame pattern on
gas fires is real and often mistaken as being a
genuine wood or coal fire.
Only registered gas installers are allowed to
install Jetmaster gas fireplaces in order to
ensure that safety standards are met.
Barbeques and Braais
Jetmaster barbeques and braais are
beautifully designed and meticulously
crafted, using only the best materials.
A wide range of built-in models, available in
stainless steel with a matt bead blasted finish
on request, cater for various needs. A range
of portable gas barbeques are also available.

Jetmaster has established itself as a market
leader in coal, wood and gas fire places.
Since 1951, when Jetmaster inventor
Glynn Jones sold the first smokeless
fireplace, the value of a Jetmaster has
exceeded concept and design and today it has
a universal value that includes all fire places.

More Heat
from a real Fire
Round-the-room Heating
Jetmaster’s proven two-way heating system (convection plus radiation)
utilises heat from the back of the fire that would otherwise be lost to
surrounding masonry or up the chimney and circulates it to every
part of the room. The damper control designed to increase overall
efficiency reduce heat loss and govern the rate of burning. This gives
maximum fuel economy.

The flow of air from the inlet to outlet and its changing temperatures
is illustrated.

2. Drawn onto inlet.
3. Passes through heating duct.
4. Enters superheating chamber.
5. Heated to maximum temperature.
6. Forced into hot air duct and expelled through jet or louvre.
7.Hot air rises and circulate to create round-the-room comfort.

9. Fumes into chimney
Few pleasures equal the warm welcome of a real fire
as ith bathes a room in its radiant glow.
Jetmaster affords the supreme benefits of extra
heat whilst consuming less fuel. No home is quite
complete without a real fire, and there’s no fire
quite like a Jetmaster

An open fire has an irresistible appeal, and for busy people
who demand high standards the Jetmaster Gas Convector
has an enviable and established reputation. The design is
silent in operation and provides a strong, realistic flame
and ember pattern for either Liquified Petroleum Gas
(LPG) or Natural gas. The Jetmaster Convector takes
heat that would normally go up the chimney and spreads
it evenly around the room to give even heating and
maximum comfort.

800 Gas Convector
Freestanding Units
The success of our built-in gas convectors has prompted
Jetmaster to design a free standing gas unit. The 800 Freestanding Gas Convector is a combination of Jetmaster’s
two most popular units, the 800 Hex and the 700 Standard
Gas Convector. The result is a stunning fireplace that not
only looks great but also works incredibly well. Installation
of the fireplace itself is really simple and can even be done
by a handyman. The gas connection however must be
done by a licensed gas installer.
