Thank you for supporting our school, students, and staff as we work together to educate our students in Christ. We thank God for His continual love and grace as He constantly blesses ZLS and our ministry. I am writing to share some news with you regarding the next academic year. Of course, at this early date, some things may change; however, here are the current plans for the 2015-2016 academic year: As of today, there are 17 kindergarten students enrolled; therefore, Mrs. Bassuener will teach the one full-day kindergarten class. We are expecting to have one 1st grade class with Mrs. Jones as the teacher. Miss Stapleton has been extended a call to serve in either Yuma, AZ, Ft. Lauderdale or Clearwater FL. Blessings to Miss Stapleton as she prepares to accept a call to serve Christ in another Lutheran School. Miss Trah will teach the one second grade class. We are expecting to have two 3rd grade classes. Mrs. Sok and Mrs. Lowing will be our 3rd grade teachers. Mrs. Schlie will move to 4th grade. We anticipate having one 4th grade class. Mrs. Hasseldahl will continue to teach 5th grade. There will be two 6th grade classes again next year. Mrs. Lesher and Miss Hinck will remain as the two 6th grade homeroom teachers. Mrs. Ettner will return to the upper grades. There will be two 7 th grade homerooms next year taught by Miss Kloess and Mrs. Ettner. Mr. Hasseldahl will remain as the 8th grade homeroom teacher. Mr. Barth will continue to teach PE and a section of math. While we always strive for improvement, Zion Lutheran School will continue to offer the best possible Christian education for our students. We thank God for all of the many blessings He has granted us this year. In Christ, Joanie L.
