RBM Twisted Little Star – a table with many qualities and a genius shape that will stimulate

RBM Bella and RBM Low-Back Bella – through and through pure pleasure that can enliven any

A Scandinavian
love story
The RBM Noor collection embodies a design adventure
shared by three known Scandinavian design agencies
and the RBM team at Scandinavian Business Seating.
A truly untraditional collaborative process. A fusion of
minds looking beyond conformity, realising a chair with
the spirits and qualities to influence its environment.
In workshop mode
RBM Noor is a true collaboration act. Starting with a workshop in
Dale Sunnfjord, March 2011, the designers shared initial thoughts
and ideas. Inspired by spectacular Norwegian scenery, they set an
aesthetic direction and creative foundation. Continuing the work
throughout in core teams, the workshop model functioned as a tool
for reconnecting. The workshops gathered around identity, visual
design, materials, conceptualisation and marketing. New insights
were always collected.

We wished for a dynamic process achieved by the fusion of
talented people and creative minds from different design cultures,
with different backgrounds and capabilities. And the collaboration
between the RBM team, StokkeAustad, Form Us With Love and
Susanna Grønlund created a Scandinavian love story, embodied
in The RBM Noor collection. A design adventure grounded in a
humanistic mode, curiosity and respect. Realising a chair with the
spirits and qualities to influence its environment.

The studio Form Us With Love operates
from Stockholm, Sweden. Guided by a
strong belief that holistic design thinking is

in the development and production of
everyday objects, furniture and lighting. In

Colourful
A combinable and colourful collection
You choose what model, materials and colours. Polypropelene seats
come in five colours, 3D veneer seats in oak or dark-stained oak.
Upholstery is always an option. The tubular and sledge bases can be
delivered in a number of colours and surfaces. As can armrests.
Wooden legs come in nature-stained and dark-stained ash, aluminium footbase in black, polished or white. RBM Noor has a model for every intention
and interaction.

Environmental
Always with sustainability in mind
A low carbon footprint makes RBM Noor a sustainable choice. It is resource
efficient, using low-impact materials such as recycled aluminium, polypropylene and partly recycled steel. New transparent powder paints replaces
chrome as surface treatment. The chair uses no glue, is designed for easy
disassembly and recycling, and is designed to meet the strictest of indoor
climate requirements.

The RBM Noor 4 leg model is a light and neat chair
and a perfect choice for almost any kind of use. With its
comfortable shell and 4 legs it can cover the range from
basic to classic and fit in around the meeting table, in
the canteen, in the conference room, as a side chair, in a
relaxation area, and even at home.
The model is available in both a plastic and a wooden
version. The plastic version comes with a flexible and
ergonomically shaped PP shell in 5 colours and a smooth
surface for a comfortable and optimized sitting experience.
The wood version is available in two types of exclusive and
natural 3D veneers; in oak and dark stained oak. Upholstery
solutions are available on both the plastic and the wooden
version. The 4 leg tube base comes in various paint colours
and surfaces to adapt to any environment. The chair is
stackable up to 10 chairs, and a chair trolley makes storage
and transport practical. Armrests and row connection
devices are options that make the collection well suited for
various user settings.

The RBM Noor sledgebase model has a defined and
elegant look with its slim base combined with the rounded
shell. The broad possibilities of colours and wood finishes
make the chair suitable for a wide range of settings.
RBM Noor sledgebase comes in two main variants. The
plastic model, with a flexible and ergonomically shaped
PP shell is offered in 5 vital colours; each of them can be
combined with a matching coloured base in order to add
character and energy to conference halls, canteens and
meeting rooms. The wooden model is classic and refined,
offered in two types of natural 3D veneers; in oak and dark
stained oak. Upholstery solutions are available on both the
plastic and the wooden version. The chair is stackable up to
15 chairs, and a chair trolley makes the storage and transport practical. Armrests and row connection devices are
options that make the collection well suited for various user
settings.

The RBM Noor footbase model is designed to be a
crossover in segments from education and libraries to highend meeting rooms and home offices. The pure and calm
look of the base combined with the curved shape of the
shell give a chair that lifts the interior and offers comfort to
the user.
The model is available in a plastic and a wooden version.
The plastic version comes with a flexible and ergonomically
shaped PP shell in 5 colours and a smooth surface for a
comfortable and optimized sitting experience. The wooden
option is offered in two types of exclusive and natural 3D
veneers; oak and dark stained oak. Upholstery solutions
are available on both the plastic and the wooden version.
The aluminium footbase and seat mechanism both come in
black paint or polished aluminium. The chair comes with a
standard gas lift and the height can be easily adjusted using
the intuitive handle. Armrests are available.

The RBM Noor wooden legs version is designed for love at
first sight. The unique combinations and the emphasized
material details on the legs give a strong identity that
stands out in any type of interior. The wooden legs together
with a softly upholstered shell offer a feeling of generosity
and comfort to the user, feeling at home when working. The
version in dark stained oak on dark legs gives a refined look
suitable for settings like galleries, restaurants or in a living

RBM Low-back Bella is an extension and further development of the existing chair collection; RBM Bella. Both models and RBM Ana are designed by Tias Eckhoff, one of the
most acknowledge Scandinavian industrial designers.
As the name indicates, the new RBM Low-back Bella collection features lower back height than the classical RBM Bella,
and a generous, but slim, light and open form expression,
with a strong appeal. The chair is designed for stability and
solidity, making it well-suited for all users in various environments in conferences, canteens, meetings e.g.
A characteristic «wing» shape on the top of the back, serves
as a comfortable armrest and a practical handle when
moving the chair. Through large and well sculpted surfaces
in seat and back, RBM Low-back Bella has comfotable ergonomy. The chair comes with veneer shells in birch, beech,
oak and a graphite stained veneer. In addition 4 delicate
CPL laminate colours. The models have 4 legged frames
in silver and black paint, and chrome. RBM Low-back Bella
is available as unupholstered, seat upholstered or in front

of 22 mm melamine table tops and 24 mm laminate table tops
both with 2 mm shock absorbing ABS edges. Delivery time is
normally 20 working days from factory. Other laminate table

highly resistant, hygienic and durable solution: laminate provides
a flexible surface with numerous applications, from traditional
solutions to new, creative trends.

A melamine table top is a durable solution that requires no
maintenance and which is easy to clean. The core of the melamine
top consists of chipboard, onto which melamine foil is glued and
which is then finished with a 2 mm shock absorbing ABS edge.
The surface is very durable and scratch-resistant and also heatresistant. Clean and wipe with a moist cloth.

Standard folding
table
High pressure laminate consists of several layers special decorative
paper or real wood veneer, which is impregnated with heat-treated
synthetic resins. The layers are pressed together using heat and
high pressure. The table tops also have certain heat-resistant
properties. The robust surface requires no maintenance, only
cleaning with a mild detergent.

RBM general information and terms
Prices
All prices are recommended retail prices in Pounds Sterling excl.
VAT. Any typographical errors shall not be binding for Scandinavian Business Seating AS and will be subject to correction without
liability to the vendor.
Payment terms
Standard terms: 30 days net.
Freight
Delivery terms according to sales agreements and Incoterms 2010.
UK orders with order value above 1200 GBP will be shipped free of
charge.
Visible transport damage and discrepancies in the number of items
received must always be noted on the bill of carriage at the time of
receipt and reported to the carrier.
Invisible transport damage (damaged product, but not package)
shall be reported in written to Customer Service, Scandinavian
Business Seating AS within 7 days.
Undelivered goods
1. shall be reported in written within 10 days after original reception date to Customer Service, Scandinavian Business Seating AS.
2. At expected reception of more than 1 parcel, the number of
packages missing shall be noted on the freight bill of carriage.

Longer delivery times may occur periodically, during holidays and
for especially large orders.
Order entry specification
Please specify the following information when placing an order for
RBM products:
• Product model code/name
• Number of products
• Fabric/leather on chair
• Wooden, stain surface, plastic and table top colour/type
• Colour/paint on foot base/frame for chairs and tables
• Type of castors
• Type gas lift
• Options. Eg. arms, neck rest
• Desired delivery date
• Delivery address
Change/cancellation of orders
Change/cancellation of orders on chairs or upholsteries is possible
up until production has begun. Each amended or cancelled order
will incur a charge of £50 per order. Once production has started
orders can not be changed. Change of orders within the RBM
Fast collection are not possible. For further information regarding change /cancellation of orders, please feel free to contact our
Customer Service department.

General terms and conditions
Scandinavian Business Seating’s warranty covers all RBM chairs
against material and manufacturing faults and defects from the
chair’s production date. The warranty covers any necessary spare
parts. Labour and transport costs are not covered. Wear and tear
must be expected from normal use and are not covered by the warranty. Scandinavian Business Seating provides a lifetime warranty
for the gas lifts on RBM chairs (does not cover chairs that are in use

for >9 hours per day). Unless otherwise specified, the maximum
weight for users of chairs is 110 kg. The warranty is conditional on
the chair(/table) and fabrics/leather undergoing normal cleaning.
6 year warranty for RBM products
(covers chairs/tables delivered after 01.02.2010)
Scandinavian Business Seating AS provides a 6 year warranty for all
RBM chairs and tables that are in normal use for up to a maximum
of 9 hours per day. Please also see the general warranty terms and
conditions.
24/7 - 2 year warranty
Scandinavian Business Seating provides a 2 year warranty for RBM
office chairs that are specifically designed for 24 hour use and
which are upholstered in 24/7 approved fabrics/leather from Scandinavian Business Seating’s Standard Textile & Colour Programme.

> 9 hours/day - 2 year warranty
Scandinavian Business Seating provides a 2 year warranty for all
RBM office chairs that are in normal use for more than 9 hours per
day. Please also see the general warranty terms and conditions.
Maintenance guide
Vacuum clean the chair with a furniture brush or wipe it with a
clean, white cloth or sponge slightly dampened with lukewarm,
clean water. Do not remove any plastic parts or attempt to open
the seating mechanism. Contact your Scandinavian Business Seating dealer if the chair requires servicing or maintenance.
Standard Fabric & Colour Programme
chairs upholstered in fabrics/leather from the RBM Standard Fabric
& Colour Programme when the chair is in normal use for up to 9
hours per day. Scandinavian Business Seating provides a 2 year
warranty for RBM chairs upholstered in fabrics/leather from the
RBM Standard Fabric & Colour Programme when the chair is in
normal use for more than 9 hours per day.
Extended Fabric & Colour Programme
chairs upholstered in fabrics/leather from the RBM Extended Fabric
& Colour Programme when the chair is in normal use for up to 9
hours per day. Some of the fabrics in the RBM Extended Fabric &
Colour Programme are available with a 2 year warranty for 24 hour
use (for use of more than 9 hours per day).
Special fabrics/leather
– Scandinavian Business Seating purchases fabric/leather on your
behalf.
The general warranty terms and conditions cover chairs upholstered in special fabrics/leather not included in the Standard and
Extended collections, but not the fabrics/leather.
Customer specified fabrics/leather
– Customer supplied fabric/leather.
Customer specified fabrics/leather can be used following approval
by Scandinavian Business Seating. The general warranty terms and
conditions cover chairs upholstered in approved customer specified fabrics/leather, but not the fabrics/leather.
Other terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery
Every received order is subject to reservation for strikes, lockouts,
natural catastrophes, war and the consequences of war, as well as
any other force majeure.
We stipulate our times of delivery according to the best of our

judgement, and said times of delivery are not binding. Scandinavian Business Seating AS endeavors to deliver the ordered products
by the prearranged delivery deadline, but Scandinavian Business
Seating is under no obligation to compensate for loss resulting
from a delayed delivery, nor does a delayed delivery entitle the
buyer to cancel the order.
Strikes, lockouts, natural catastrophes, war and the consequences
of war, transport difficulties and any other force majeure are always
justifiable reasons for RBM to delay delivery to the extent necessary.
Scandinavian Business Seating AS is only liable for personal injury
and property damage if it can be proven that the damage/injury
was caused by a fault or negligence on the part of Scandinavian
Business Seating or others for whom Scandinavian Business Seating
is responsible.
Scandinavian Business Seating AS is not liable for personal injury
and property damage caused by incorrect use of the product.
Scandinavian Business Seating AS is not liable for operating loss,
loss of profits or other indirect loss. To the extent that third-party
product liability is imposed on Scandinavian Business Seating, the
buyer is obliged to indemnify Scandinavian Business Seating to the
same extent to which Scandinavian Business Seating’s liability is
limited according to the preceding clause.
If a third party claims compensation from either party in accordance
with this clause, said party must inform the other party immediately
hereof.
In all instances where Scandinavian Business Seating AS is unable
to finalise the purchase of materials from our external suppliers
or contract transport agreements at a fixed price, we reserve the
right to base our cost calculation on the current costs on the day of
delivery, regardless of whether we have made special reservations
in this regard.
If a customer fails to comply with the prearranged terms of payment, monthly interest on overdue payment will be charged per
month or any part thereof from the due date.
Unless otherwise is agreed, Scandinavian Business Seating standard Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery apply.
