LacrossetheNations(LtN).Teamsof3‐7playersgathertogetherandtypicallyplayround‐
robinformat20minutegames.
RegistrationfeesfromyourLtNMINIJAMarethendonatedtoLacrossetheNationsto
providedirectsupportfor:
 SuppliesandsalariesforourcoachesanddirectorsimplementingourLifeSkills
Curriculumthroughafter‐schoolandPEprograms.
 Supplementalnutritionforourschool‐based,internationalprograms.
 ScholarshipstocovertuitionforourNicaraguanandCostaRicancoaches.
 Monthlyfieldtripstohelpfosterattendanceinourprograms.
How to Get Started
STEP ONE. Figureoutavenueanddateforyourtournamentandgetpermissionfrom
thefolksresponsibleforthevenue(Coach,parent,facilitymanager,etc).Besuretoexplain
whatthiswillsupportandthatitisacharitablecause. STEP TWO.Determinetournamentformatbasedonnumberofpredictedparticipants,
yourvenue,andtheamountoftimeyouhave.Werecommendnochecking,andsticksonly
withpinkieortennisballs.Typicalformatsincludehalf‐courtbasketballrules(neutral
goalie),trashcanrules(seetrashcanlacrosse.com)orsidelinetosidelinewith2goals.
STEP THREE. Getfolksregistered.Weaskforaminimumregistrationfeeof
$10perperson.Identifyteamcaptainsandhavethemsignupfolksandcollectfeesusing
theattachedform.Besuretosetadeadlineforregisteringthatallowsyouenoughtimeto
scheduleeveryone.
Mixitup!OftenthemostfunLtNMINIJAMSarethosethathaveco‐edteamsofmixed
ages(adultstoo)andabilities.

12:00pmCheckintopickupyourteams’schedule.
12:30pmHostgatherseveryonetomakeabriefLtNpresentation(seeTalkingPoints)
andtogoovertournamentrulesandtothankparticipantsandvenuefolks.
12:45pmStartplaying.20mingameswith5minutebreaks.
