No doubt about it, people are ready for Relìv. The recession has
shown them the limitations of the corporate lifestyle and they’re
eager to find something that puts them in control of their lives.
Fortunately, Relìv has exactly what they need.
But they can’t join Relìv if they’ve never heard about us… and
that’s where you come in. The direct sales industry is exploding
and an unprecedented opportunity for growth is all around you.
It’s the ideal time to stretch yourself, get outside of your comfort
zone and expand your business. Don’t wait for people to come to
you — you need to reach out to them.
For Distributors taking action, sponsoring is surging. This
is your chance to be a part of something big. Don’t let it pass
you by — now is the time to grow. Here’s how:
Keep your eyes open. Every interaction you have, every errand you
run, every phone call you make is a new chance to share Relìv.
Be prepared when an opportunity presents itself.
Listen. People have a lot to get off of their chests these days.
When you meet someone, ask questions and let them do the
talking. You’ll find they’ll discover their own reason they need
Relìv if you give them the chance.
Go public. Make your Relìv business as visible as possible. Drink
your shakes wherever you are, hold presentations in public and
get that Relìv logo out there for all to see.
Get the word out. Pass out business cards, join social networking
sites, run ads in community publications, make signs, and “put
two in play every day” with Success from Home.
Get involved. Expand your network by joining your local Chamber
of Commerce, participating in a group hobby or sport, or getting
involved in your church or other community organizations.
Learn from the best. The path to Relìv success has already
been blazed many times over. Tap into the experience of your
upline, of Ambassadors on Monday night training calls and
of top Distributors through the workshops at Relìv U.

Become a student of the business. Pay closer attention at every
opportunity meeting and training. Read every Relìv publication
and e-mail. Master the Relìv website. Become an expert on
Relìv nutrition. You never know when a particular story or a
certain piece of information is exactly what someone’s been
waiting to hear.
Present the Big Picture. Encourage prospects to join Relìv at whatever level they’re comfortable, but also be sure to show the full
income potential available only to Master Affiliates. If they still
want to sign up at a lower level, no problem — your job then
becomes mapping out a plan and working with them to get
to MA.
Share. One of the best parts about Relìv is the generosity of our
Distributors. By sharing ideas, we grow together and increase
Relìv awareness exponentially. Check out page 3 of this newsletter
and visit the “Distributor Ideas” section on Relìv U. to find some
shared strategies for reaching out to people.
So get out and get busy. You’ll be amazed at how many people are looking
for a better way. Make it be Relìv and make it be YOU they hear it from.

Distributors are excited, sponsoring is up and Relìv is bringing new hope

Last month’s Master Affiliate feature on strategies to tap into
the cold market proved so popular that we’ve decided to
feature even more Distributor ideas in this issue — further
demonstrating that there really is no limit to the ways you
can share Relìv. So spread the word, shout it from the rooftops and let people hear some good news for a change! The
world is calling for Relìv — now more than ever.
“We make our Relìv lifestyle as public as possible. We’re
regulars at the local coffee shop, where we conduct presentations and share Relìv with the world. We bring product with
us and shake it up wherever we go. We wear Relìv shirts, use
Relìv coffee cups, have a Relìv license plate and carry around
the Relìv issue of Success from Home. If you get Relìv out in
public, people are inevitably going to ask about it… and
there’s your opportunity! We just had our best three-month
period ever. While the rest of the world slows down, it’s

everywhere. I found a company online that prints free business
cards and car magnets. I’ve made yard signs and posted them
around our area. And I found a cheap source of vinyl letters
for messages in my car windows. All of these have produced
solid leads and new Distributors. Whatever you do, do it solid
for at least 90 days. Every strategy needs a chance to work.”

“Working with Relìv’s Compliance Department, I set up
my own website a few months ago. I include the address on
my business cards and other materials and take advantage
of free advertising on the Internet, which optimizes my site
on web searches. I also have a Facebook account — a free,

“My approach is simple: Walk up to people and talk to them.
When you have the products and the company that we have
behind us, it’s easy to approach people with confidence. I just
start asking questions to learn more about the person, and
inform them that I know of products and/or an opportunity
they might be interested in. Then I get their phone number
and invite them to a meeting. On a recent trip to the store,
I got the numbers of all five people in line with me — plus
the cashier!”

“We put a magnetic sign with our phone number on our car
in January (see photo below), and it’s been generating an average of a couple phone calls a day ever since. It took a little
practice to learn how to talk to people when they called. The
key is to really listen to people’s needs and make the conversation about them. Once we figured that out, we added five
new Distributors through that sign in a month!”

On the Road” visit to Portland
on May 2, featuring Executive

In a recent visit to Portland,
Presidential Three-Time Platinum
Ambassador Mike Williams
spoke to close to 950 people in
just eight days. “We really came
together as a group and worked
hard to make Mike’s visit an opportunity for big growth,” Quila
says. “And did it ever work! In
my 17 years with Relìv, I’ve never
seen this kind of momentum.”

to showcase how exciting
and enjoyable it can be when
momentum is built in an area,”
explains Senior Vice President
of North American Sales Steve
Hastings. “We take our cameras into your backyard, sponsor
a meeting that can attract a lot of guests, share the big
picture of Relìv and capture the excitement on video. And
the folks in Portland deserve something special. They’re
growing by leaps and bounds up there, and we want to
support their efforts and keep that momentum going.”
Once the Relìv on the Road visit
was announced, the area created
their own promotion around the
event tied to sponsoring and bringing new people to weekly
meetings. Those who qualify will earn a spot aboard a cruise
of the area with Ryan Montgomery and other special guests.
The Relìv on the Road visit is actually the latest in a series
of big events for Distributors in Portland. “We view every
Tuesday night meeting and every Saturday training as the
next must-attend event on the Relìv calendar,” explains
Presidential Silver Ambassador Quila Buhler. “If you take
that approach, you generate excitement and the kind of
growth that leads to more and bigger events.”
Where will Relìv on the Road stop next? Why not your
town? If you build it, we will come.
“And we’re far from finished,” notes Quila. “We will be
working daily to bring as many people as possible to the
meeting that weekend. With the great need for Relìv right
now — especially the opportunity for financial freedom that
we offer — this business is ready to explode!”
