Discover Genoa’s Artistic UNESCO heritage! You will be surprised by the allure of the city’s old medieval centre and its
unusual mix of elegant palaces and small artisans’ workshops, precious ateliers and lively “osterie” and pubs. The different architectural styles,
together with the bright colours of the old fishermen houses create an inimitable atmosphere that is difficult to forget. Take some time to visit
some of the Rolli palaces designated in World Heritage by UNESCO such as Palazzo Rosso or Bianco located in the fascinating Via Garibaldi where
lots of art exhibitions take place. Just outside the MYBA area you can also enjoy a walk along the city’s historic port and the newer dockside area
where the aquarium and the Sea Museum are located. Take advantage of the city tours organized during the show to discover the city’s most

On behalf of the city of Genoa, I am
delighted and honoured to salute
the 24th MYBA Charter Show,
whose importance is witnessed by
the growing appreciation among
exhibitors and visitors.
I would like to thank the MYBA
Association as well as Pesto Sea
Group, Marina Molo Vecchio and the
Associazione Agenti raccomandatari
mediatori marittimi of Genoa for the
organisation.
The City of Genoa has been
hosting this important event since
2001 with great success. I am
proud of the role that Genoa has
been able to keep along these
years.In the last administrative
course the Municipality has
attributed particular importance to
accomplishing Genoa’s makeover.
I think it is necessary to increase
and reorganize the port facilities
on a grand scale, and to redefine
the equilibrium between urban
organism and port.
This is the reason why we have
worked out a new general town
planning scheme supported by
the great architect Renzo Piano’s
waterfront project.
Let me take this opportunity to
warmly welcome you to Genoa,
nominated a Unesco World Heritage
site.
In my capacity as the city Mayor I
would like to thank you very much
for being here and wish you all the

Dear Show Attendees,
As Chairwoman of the Charter Boat Show Committee, it is my
pleasure to welcome you to Genoa for the 2012 MYBA Charter Show.
Again, we have an outstanding collection of charter yachts available
for viewing and I would like to thank the captains and their crew for
all their hard work in presenting their yachts.
I would also like to thank our sponsors and exhibitors whose
support and participation is much appreciated. Please take the time
to read the show schedule for the week again. One again, the Gala
Dinner will be held at the spectacular Villa Lo Zerbino on Tuesday
evening and we hope you will join us for another enjoyable evening.
I would also like to thank the Pesto Sea Group for their continued
support and excellent organisation of this impressive event. I would
particularly like to thank Francesca Carbone whose support is
invaluable.
