Connex2Car™ Harnesses
The Connex2Car harnesses are another simple plug and play solution from Peripheral. Simply
plug in the radio specific DIN connector of the Connex2Car harness into the back of the
applicable aftermarket radio (Alpine M-Bus and Ai-Net, Pioneer, Kenwood, SONY and JVC). At
the other end of the harness, plug in either an iPod™ with the iPod specific connector, other
MP3 player with 3.5mm headphone connection or other device with traditional audio outputs (RCA’s) and enjoy the sound you have come to expect from quality mobile devices.

iPod or 3.5mm/RCA Aux-audio input for most Pioneer IP-bus radios
Compatibility:
1. C
ompatible with all Pioneer radios using IP-BUS accessory connection. Older Pioneer
M-bus radios are not compatible. Please consult your Pioneer owner’s manual or a
sales assistant to find out if your radio is compatible.
2. T he PXA02 is not compatible with Pioneer manufactured
factory radios such as found in Scion vehicle.
Additional Notes:
1. In order for the Aux-audio input to be operational,
it first must be set in the radio’s menu options
for ‘AUX’ function.
2. C
onnection of a CD changer is not possible when using
the PXA02. The changer port will be occupied by the PXA02.
3. The PXA02 can be used in place of Pioneer’s CD-RB10.

JVC
iPod or 3.5mm/RCA Aux-audio input for JVC radios featuring J-Link
Compatibility:
1. Compatible with all JVC radios using a J-Link accessory connection. Please consult
your JVC owner’s manual or a sales assistant to find out if your radio is compatible.
Additional Notes:

for ‘AUX’ function.
2. Connection of a CD changer is not possible
when using the PXA04. The changer port

3. The PXA04 can be used in place of JVC’s KS-U57.

Kenwood
iPod or 3.5mm/RCA Aux-audio input for most Kenwood radios.
Compatibility:
1. Compatible with most 1999-Up Kenwood radios. Please consult your Kenwood
owner’s manual or a sales assistant to find out if your radio is compatible.
2. Auxiliary audio input (AUX) mode is NOT available on all
Kenwood radios. In order to use the PXA05 the radio
manual must indicate AUX input option using a
(KCA-S210A or CA-C1AX) adaptor.
Additional Notes:
1. When AUX mode is activated, “AUX/AUX” will
display on the radio face.
2. Connection of a CD changer or satellite receiver is not
possible when using the PXA05. The accessory port will
be occupied by the PXA05.
3. The PXA05 can be used in place of Kenwood’s CA-C1AUX.

Compatibility:
1. Compatible with late model Alpine Ai-Net radios featuring Versatile-Link (V-LINK). Older Alpine Ai-Net radios
without V-Link are not compatible. Please consult your Alpine owner’s manual or a sales assistant to find
out if your radio is compatible.
2. N
ot all radios with an Ai-Net CD changer port are compatible, the radio MUST feature V-LINK
otherwise it will not recognize the PXA06.
3. The PXA06 is not compatible with M-bus Alpine radios.
T hese radios can be identified by having an ‘M’ in
their model numbers.

PXP01 Audio and Video Interface cable for iPod
The PXP01 provides a convenient way to enjoy the latest generation iPod with video in the automobile.
Audio and Video playback as well as a charging input make the PXP01 by far the easiest way to enjoy all the
features of the new iPod.
Peripheral’s PXP01 connects to the bottom
of all iPods (except shuffle) and provides two
stereo audio outputs and a single composite
video output. The provided power wires are
connected to the automobile’s switched
power so that the iPod is charged while
the car is in use. Its stereo audio outputs
can be connected to the audio input of
an aftermarket radio or to many original
automotive radios with the addition of a
Peripheral auxiliary input interface sold
separately. This product is designed to deliver
uncompromised audio and video playback in
a wide range of applications.

PXOD
OmniDock Universal iPod Interface
Peripheral Electronics continues to enhance their lineup of iPod interfacing options with the OmniDock
(PXOD). The OmniDock (PXOD) is a simple and convenient iPod interface that offers a better and cleaner
installation solution than a cigarette plug power cord and FM modulator installation. The OmniDock utilizes
the iPod’s docking connector for both audio and power, eliminating the use of the headphone jack. It
also now features ground loop noise isolation as well as level matching gain adjustments. A pair of RCA’s
deliver high quality audio directly from the iPod to an input on a Factory or Aftermarket radio. The OmniDock
charges the iPod for up to twenty minutes after the vehicle has been turned off, prolonging the life of the
iPod’s battery. Control of the iPod functions through the iPod’s buttons are fully maintained.

PXDX: 1999 Chrysler vehicles have one of two different style radios. These two radios use different harnesses. The shape of the radio face will determine which harness you will use. If your radio face is SQUARE,
you will use the harness part# PXHCH1. If your radio face is OVAL (rounded corners), you will use the harness part# PXHCH2.
PXDX: Vehicle must be non-CANBUS, if radio is an REF,REC,RAQ, RAK series, vehicles are not compatible. The series is indicated on the front of the radio.

• If the vehicle has both Satellite and Vehicle Entertainment System (VES), one of the devices will have to be
disconnected in order for the CHYX to work. CHYX will then emulate whichever device is disconnected.
• If you are using a single disc radio (REF model), the factory Satellite (if installed) must be disconnected. This radio
does not support VES, therefore the CHYX can not emulate it and must be set to emulate a satellite tuner only.
• When VES is disconnected in favor of using the CHYX, all related features are also disabled such as DVD player

Compatibility:
1. Compatible with all JVC radios using a J-Link accessory connection. Please consult
your JVC owner’s manual or a sales assistant to find out if your radio is compatible.
Additional Notes:

Alpine (Ai-net)
iPod or 3.5mm/RCA Aux-audio input for Alpine Ai-Net radios featuring V-LINK ONLY
Compatibility:
1. Compatible with late model Alpine Ai-Net radios featuring Versatile-Link (V-LINK). Older Alpine Ai-Net radios
without V-Link are not compatible. Please consult your Alpine owner’s manual or a sales assistant to find
out if your radio is compatible.
2. Not all radios with an Ai-Net CD changer port are compatible, the radio MUST feature V-LINK otherwise it will
not recognize the PXA06.
3. T he PXA06 is not compatible with M-bus Alpine radios. These radios can be identified
by having an ‘M’ in their model numbers.
Additional Notes:
1. In order for the Aux-audio input to be operational, it first must be set in the radio’s
menu options for ‘AUX’ function.
2. Connection of a CD changer is not possible when using the PXA06.
The changer port will be occupied by the PXA06.
3. The PXA06 can be used in place of Alpine’s KCA-121B.
