March 10 Meeting
This month’s meeting will start at 7:30 and take place at the
Plano American Legion 510 E. Dearborn St. in Plano, IL.
March Meeting Agenda
Our meeting this month will include discussions on our
breakfast results, upcoming flea market and various other
topics. Immediately following out regular meeting we will be
having our awards ceremony since our awards banquet had to
be cancelled. There will be raffles of a pork loin, strip steaks
and a lure card. We may also have a gift card raffle of a $40
dinner for Lakeview Grill in Yorkville.
Everyone please bring a dish to pass like we did for the
Christmas meeting. This should be a great time.
Quad County Donates to IDNR Cause
At our last meeting we met our new regional biologist
Dave Wyffels. We were discussing as a club the DNR wish list
of items that were needed by the fisheries department this year
or in the future. Dave mentioned a need that was not on the
list. An outboard motor needed fixing and mounting on one of
their most important boats. We decided to put money towards
half of the cost of the total which was $300.00. We ended up
paying $150 and Clint Sands and Shabbona Lakeside Bait and
Tackle paid for the other half of the expense. It was great to be
able to help out the new biologist with something that really
benefits everyone that fishes in our area. Great job Quad
County Hawg Hunters!
Club Bumper Stickers Available
We now have really nice stickers available for $10 a piece. I
will have them at our next meeting. If you cannot make a
meeting and would like one just send me a check made out to
