About GallopNYC’s VOLUNTEERS
8th Annual Ride with Pride Horse Show
Due to severe thunderstorms, the June Ride with Pride Horse Show’s Central Park
venue was closed, but Lynne’s Riding School stepped in and saved the day. They hosted
a mini show for about 25 of our riders on June 21st. It was a perfect day for the proud
riders and their beaming families. And our generous sponsors and Blue Ribbon Donors
raised nearly $60,000 for rider fee subsidies.
We Love our Corporate
Volunteers!

GallopNYC’s herd grew by two this year. Pride is a rescue from the Standardbred Anne Marie Sowder Chance
Retirement Foundation. Pride is an ex-racehorse, who loves people much more
Abigail Corcoran
than he did the track, which makes him the perfect therapy horse. He’s a big boy
Hendrik Laverge
with an even bigger heart. Our newest member, Zest, joined the herd in June. He’s Terry Lawler

In a preview of FY2016, a friend donated a retired dressage horse to us. He's a
