Session Date Time Speakers 5B – Quality of Documentation: A Panel Discussion Friday, May 29, 2015 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. John Bockstael (CCA), Lee McCormick (MAA), Brian Colgan, RSW (CSC), Mike Houvardas (ACEC), Pat Kuzyk (Owners) When the quality of documentation in the construction industry declines, it can adversely impact projects with constructability issues, cost over runs, schedule delays, and general frustration in the industry. We have assembled a number of industry stakeholders to participate in a panel discussion representing the Architects (MAA), Engineers (ACEC), Contractors (CCA), Owners and CSC (TR’s and RSW’s) community to provide their perspectives on this issue. Together with audience participation it is anticipated that all parties will gain a better understanding of how poor documents impact them and the other sectors, and with this collaborative discussion focus the construction industry on moving towards solutions both locally and nationally.
