Pickleball
A great opportunity at a very affordable price to learn how to play the country’s
fastest growing sport, Pickleball!!! Everyone will be taught basic Pickleball strokes
and strategy in a fun, non intimidating and creative atmosphere. Instruction is game
based with lots of play. Participants are encouraged to stay and play afterwards on
Bakersfield’s best Pickleball courts with superb lighting for evening play.

This Fun and Exciting New Day Camp will provide a place for your child
to experience the arts in an all new way by creating Art Projects,
Learning Music, Singing, Dancing, Skits, and Camp Participants will enjoy
making their own camp T-Shirts (T-shirts provided). Campers bring their
own sack lunch. During the last two hours of camp on December 30th,
there will be a reception with a gallery showing of the art projects, and
performances of skits, musical selections, dances, and songs learned
at camp.

Improv Classes
IMPROV 101 (18 and up): This class is the Center for Improv Advancement’s
introductory class to the world of improv! Whether you’re an actor looking to
increase the in-demand skill of improvisation for professional commercial or
theatrical work, or just someone who enjoys making people laugh and wants to
have more fun and play in their life, this class will benefit EVERYBODY! In our 101
class, participants will work on the core skills of improvisation, building a foundation
of acceptance, commitment, ensemble and FUN culminating in a show for friends
and family! All of our instructors are respected members of the improv community,
locally, regionally, and some nationally! Come play with us, share the party, and
brighten your future!

Master Earl Absher, 8th degree black belt with over 42 years
experience, teaches a combination of Tae Kwon Do, Karate, and

Dance Mix with Anya
Dance Mix with Anya is a dance class combining several dance
styles such as hip hop, jazz funk, and other related genres. Anya
is an experienced dance instructor all the way from Russia! She
works to develop your skills and expand your knowledge, while
providing an energetic and fun experience. Anya has worked
with many grand-master dancers and choreographers to bring
her expertise to Bakersfield. Come join the movement!

Tennis Time @ Westdale Park
Learn basic to advanced tennis skills in a fun atmosphere. Junior
tennis includes beginners age 5 to 11. Advanced beginners must pass
the beginner test (no age requirement). Elementary age students may
play with Advance Adult class with instructor’s permission. All rackets
and balls are supplied. This is a year round program. Make up lessons
are available. Good manners and etiquette are stressed.

Learn the basics of this fast moving, action packed sport during
a two day clinic.
Tot Sports help build childrens’ motor development skills through completion of basic

TOT SOCCER
This program teaches children a variety of soccer skills including: dribbling, kicking
and passing, trapping, throw-ins, and running/agility. Teamwork is emphasized in this
program. Children will learn how to play soccer in a FUN, non-competitive
environment. Parent participation is required. A field instructor will be assigned to
each team to assist parents in implementation of drills.
TOT FOOTBALL
This program teaches children a variety of football skills including: throwing, catching,
pulling flags, running/agility, and kicking/punting. Teamwork is emphasized in this
program. Children will learn how to play football in a FUN, non-threatening
environment. Parent participation is required. A field instructor will be assigned to
each team to assist parents in implementation of drills.
TOT BASKETBALL
Children will learn the basic skills of basketball in a FUN, non-competitive
environment. This instructional program teaches children a variety of basketball skills
including dribbling/ball handling, shooting, passing/catching, and running/agility.

assigned to each team to assist parents in the implementation of drills.

Teen Scene ~ Godspell
This legendary rock musical is a uniquely jubilant, outrageously

Elf Jr. The Musical
Based on the beloved holiday film, Elf Jr. the Musical is a hilarious
fish-out-of-water comedy that follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to
