The Luxembourg Pro Cycling Project Press Release Craft Signs as Clothing Sponsor 06.12.2010 The Luxembourg Pro Cycling Project will be well covered by Craft in 2011 and onwards. With the staff and rider roster already finalized, attention begins to turn towards the additional team sponsors. The Luxembourg Pro Cycling Project is pleased to have secured Craft Performance Apparel as their sponsor for the team’s racing kit and sports clothing. Craft has a long history of creating the most innovative performance clothing in multiple areas of Nordic sports, and now will collaborate with the Luxembourg Pro Cycling Project to develop the most advanced cycling clothing in the industry. “We couldn’t be happier to have joined forces with Craft since they continually show the same passion and ambition we have for the sport,” the Luxembourg Pro Cycling Project General Manager Brian Nygaard said. “We see this as a key component in the successful!development of our project.” For their part, Craft Performance Apparel Brand Manager Erik Abrahamsson is delighted to be gaining access to some of the greatest cyclists racing today: “Everyone from to CEO to the designers to the seamstresses is extremely excited about the partnership. Our brand has based its core endeavours to develop products in conjunction with world class athletes; there is no question in our mind that we are joining the top team in cycling.” With Craft’s advancements in skiing and speed-skating skin suits, they are keen to make a splash in the cycling industry. “Our ski developments have worked well,” Abrahamsson said. “But now that we have invested a lot of time, money and people, we are ready to tackle the cycling industry full throttle.” !!!!!!!!!!!! ! ! In this meeting of the minds, Craft and the Luxembourg Pro Cycling Project are looking forward to working towards a common goal. “We are super excited about working for something new and collaborating with innovative, talented people who we love to be around,” Abrahamsson explained. Nygaard is equally enthusiastic: “From the first moment we started talking with Craft about the possibility of working together, I knew that we would have a strong partner with whom we could move forward and fulfill our ambitions as a top flight professional cycling team.” Nygaard’s understandable excitement stems from the fact that Craft will be using their top level cycling clothing as the basis for what they will be creating to clothe the team. “The actual team kit will be built around the top of the line Craft Attack collection and we will continue to push our technology even further with the team,” Craft Product Manager Mattias Carlsson explained. “Everything will be customized to the needs and preferences of each rider, and their eventual feedback will play a huge role in our future product development.” ! ! !!!!!!!!!!!! ! ! ! ! No matter how complicated having customized tailoring for each rider will make the production of the team kit, the satisfaction of each rider will be paramount. “It’s a big task to have each rider with his own tailored kit, but at the end of the day, what we want is for every rider to be comfortable in his apparel, which will enhance everyone’s performances and focus any feedback we will receive from them,” Carlsson said. The collaboration and the feedback will be very important to both sides. “We each are on a very high level already, and now with the sort of feedback a top tier team like the Luxembourg Pro Cycling Project can provide for us, we will be able to apply their experiences to create the cutting edge products that we continually strive to produce.” Nygaard agrees: “I’m convinced that that our reciprocal relationship will lead to stellar results on both sides.” ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !!!!!!!!!!!! ! ! ! ! ! !
