Independent Suspension Technology (I.S.T) allows
your feet to adapt to abnormal and uneven surfaces
through an independently moving outsole structure.
Sensors on the bottom of the I.S.T soles recognise
the odd curves on a surface and move independently
up and down, offering better traction as well a shock
absorbing qualities. In 2007 I.S.T won the Industrial
Innovation Award.

However beautifully designed a shoe is, having a comfortable fit is
limited by the different shapes and curves of the wearer’s foot. From the
earliest days of shoe design until now, there has been little change in the
way shoes have been made.
Now announcing Treksta
technology... unique, new and
revolutionary.
We developed our technology by measuring the natural curves and
contours of 20,000 individual feet. We then used this data to create
shoes that actually cradle feet naturally; giving you the protection you
need but with the unrestricted feeling of the barefoot experience.

We 3D scanned and analyzed the feet of 20,000 people
and created a contour map that would allow the 26 bones
and 33 joints in each foot to perform in comfort.
With this information
created shoes that would

Since the first introduction of IceLockTM soles in 2008, Treksta has continuously
researched to make improvements. Through these continuous efforts, HYPERGRIP®’s
IceLockTM technology was finally born with distinctly better functions and design than
any other winter soles on the market.
IceLockTM is a patent pending technology that dramatically increases traction on ice
and wet surfaces. Micro-glass filaments are electrostatically aligned in the rubber
compound creating slip-stopping surface tension.
The newly developed shape of the bottom profile was specially designed to ensure
the lugs wear out much more slowly, and IceLockTM’s special rubber compound
improves the sole’s durability and functionality.

By applying I.S.T technology to the shoes, you’re offered a greater shock absorption
quality, whilst independently moving PU lugs give even better traction to your shoes.
Outsole lugs work like a spring, and move vertically up and down. When stepping on
to an uneven surface, each lug on the outsole moves independently, not affecting other
adjoining lugs, automatically moving up to adapt to the surface and therefore creating a
higher degree of even traction.
Structure
Because of the nature of the cushion and the strength of its stable and highly elastic PU
lugs, if one lug steps on a foreign object, it automatically adapts to the surface by using
the principle of force. PU lugs always maintain the original shape, and they only move
independently when they encounter the foreign object to adapt to the new surface. The
even traction of the shoes and its shock-absorption quality protect the joints as well as the
spine, letting you explore any types of terrain.

HyperFoam™ technology is engineered with a midsole volume that is up to 2.5 x the volume of a standard trail running
shoe. Made with performance-specific ‘different density’ materials it creates better balance on any types of terrain.
Treksta’s
technology adds a glove-like feel to the top profile of Hyper Foam™. The uniquely engineered
frame insole, midsole and outsole geometry allows the runner’s foot to sink deeply into the shoe’s midsole,
preventing the foot from sliding back and forth during running, whilst still offering an excellent shock absorption quality.
