Atwood Mobile Expands in Greenbrier
GREENBRIER, TN (May) Atwood Mobile celebrated the
company’s expansion at a ceremony in Greenbrier. Atwood
Mobile will invest $3.2 million to
expand their current operations
by building on to the existing
Tennessee Recreational Vehicle (RV) appliance manufacturing facility at 6320 Kelly Willis
Rd. in Greenbrier. This expansion will create 178 new jobs in
Robertson County over the next
three years.

CHS Expands Footprint in Nashville
NASHVILLE, TN (May) Community Health Systems announced the company will invest $66 million to expand its
current operations in Tennessee by constructing a new

jobs over the next five years.

Inc. is one of the nation’s leading operators of general acute
care hospitals and one of Tennessee’s largest employers.

hospitals in 29 states with approximately 30,000 licensed
beds.

Proper Polymers Takes a Shot in Pulaski
PULASKI, TN (May) Automotive
supplier Proper Polymers, a division of Proper Group International, will build a new injection molding plant in Pulaski. The company
announced it will invest $13.1

state and third overall. Proper
Polymers also has operations in
Warren, Mich., and Anderson,
S.C.
The 44,000-square-foot facility will
manufacture two-shot and threeshot components for automotive
and non-automotive lighting, along
with other automotive exterior trim
and support parts.
The plant is expected to be in
operation in the third quarter of
this year. Initially, Proper Polymers plans to run nine Krauss
Maffei presses in the facility, ranging from 100 tons to 1,500 tons of
clamping force. That number will
grow to as many as 15 machines
after three years.
The plant will employ about 50 at
opening, and is projected to employ 175 in the next three years.
Proper Polymers is headquartered
in Warren. Mich.
For more than 40 years, Proper
Group International has developed a reputation as a “world
class” manufacturer in the plastics
industry. In 1996, Proper expanded its support into the Southeast
region of the United States.
Initially, the facility located in Anderson, South Carolina was set up
to support Proper Tooling’s expanding business with BMW, Mercedes, and other manufacturers in
the Southeast. In 2002, Proper
expanded it’s line of service to

Great Lakes Cheese Grand Opening
MANCHESTER, TN (May) Great
Lakes Cheese celebrated the
grand opening of its new Manchester facility. In October 2013,
the company announced it would
invest $100 million to open its first
Southeast manufacturing facility at
the Manchester Industrial Park,
creating 200 new jobs.

Manchester plant will
be the fourth biggest
among the company’s nine plants.
The 330,000 square foot cheese
processing plant will serve as a
packaging plant where cheese will
be cut, sliced, shredded and packaged for shipment throughout the
Southeast.

Ficosa North America Expands Its Presence
COOKEVILLE, TN (May) Ficosa
North America officials announced
the company will expand its Tennessee presence by building a new state
-of-the-art facility at the Highlands
Business Park in Cookeville. The
automotive supplier will invest $58
million in the Putnam County facility
and create 550 jobs.
Ficosa’s existing Tennessee plant in
nearby Crossville produces mirror
assemblies for Nissan, Ford,
Volkswagen, Fiat Chrysler, General
Motors and other auto manufacturers. The company will transfer the
existing jobs to the new Cookeville
facility, which will increase production capacity and allow components
currently made in China and Mexico
to be made in Tennessee.

Caleres Stepping Up
LEBANON, TN (June) Caleres is expanding its Wilson County facility. The
global footwear company announced it
will make a substantial investment to
expand its distribution facility in Lebanon, creating more than 40 new jobs.
Caleres currently employs around 240
people at its Lebanon facility. The expansion is scheduled to begin in June
2015 and expected to be completed by
the fourth quarter of 2016. The company plans to begin hiring in the fourth

TCAT Celebrates Ribbon Cutting
LEBANON, TN (June) After several years of
planning and repairing, the Tennessee College of
Applied Technology (TCAT) location in Lebanon,
celebrated its ribbon cutting. The center also
houses the career center of Nashville Career Advancement Center.
The College will be run as a remote
location of the Hartsville TCAT. This
TCAT facility currently offer classes in
Practical Nursing and Computer Information Technology and will add an

TWB Company Steels Nashville
NASHVILLE (June) TWB
Company, LLC officials announced the company will expand its current operations in
Tennessee by locating a new
manufacturing facility in Nashville. TWB will invest $18 million in this new operation, creating 41 new jobs in Davidson
County.
TWB will operate out of a
120,000 square foot facility at
6050 Dana Way, the company’s second location in Tennessee. The company also has
operations in Smyrna.
This location will manufacture
tailor welded blanks, which are
individual steel sheets of different
thickness, strength and coating
joined together by laser welding
and then stamped into automotive body panels.
The new facility will include next
generation fiber lasers and curvilinear welding technology, expanding TWB’s 2D welding capabilities and its ability to reduce
weight and increase strength of
more parts of a vehicle. The use
of tailor welded blanks in vehicles

Sweet Deal for Lebanon
LEBANON, TN
(June) Maplehurst
Bakeries, LLC, a
division of Weston
Foods, announced
the company will
invest $102.8 million to build and
equip a new
173,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Lebanon.
The facility will be located at Central Pike and 840 and
create up to 147 new jobs in Wilson County.
Founded in 1967, Maplehurst Bakeries produces frozen bakery products, including donuts, pies, cupcakes, cake, rye bread, sweet goods and gluten-free
baked goods, for in-store and food service bakeries.
With products sold in North American grocery retailers, supermarket chains and food service outlets, the
company currently operates facilities in Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, New Hampshire, New York, Tennessee
and Washington. Maplehurst Bakeries currently has
more than 1,100 employees across the United States,
including more than 105 full-time employees in Tennessee.
The new facility, which is expected to be operational in
the first quarter of 2016, will house warehouse, distribution, and manufacturing operations for its donut
production to service customers across North America

DE-STA-CO Rotates, Pivots, and Positions In Wilson County
MT. JULIET, TN (July) DE-STA-CO officials announced the company will consolidate several of its U.S. manufacturing operations by locating a new facility in Mount
Juliet in an effort to better serve its North
American and global customers. The Middle Tennessee facility, located at 210 Mundy Memorial Drive, will integrate product
offerings and improve the company’s supply chain.
DE-STA-CO specializes in the innovation,
design and manufacture of clamping and
robotic tooling solutions for workholding
and automation needs. The project will
result in the creation of 245 new jobs in
Wilson County.
The consolidation process will be completed in multiple phases over the next 18 to
24 months. It will include phasing out manufacturing activities at its Auburn Hills and

La Vergne Is A Good Fit for American Standard
LA VERGNE, TN (July) American Standard Brands will invest $22 million to establish a new manufacturing and distribution facility in
Davidson County. Through this investment, the leading North American manufacturer of stylish, high-performance bathroom and
kitchen fixtures and fittings, will create approximately 600 new jobs in La Vergne. This is the first new U.S.-based manufacturing facility for American Standard Brands in more than 25 years.
This new facility in Davidson County will allow American Standard Brands to expand its operational footprint and increase efficiency

M-TEK Breaks Ground in Murfreesboro
MURFREESBORO, TN (July) M-TEK celebrated the groundbreaking of its new facility at 1225 Garrison Drive in Murfreesboro.
In December 2014, M-TEK announced the company would invest
$13.4 million to build a new headquarters in Rutherford County that
will support operations in the United States, Mexico and Canada,
employing approximately 250 people.
The company's new headquarters will be on 10 acres in the Gateway area on the corner of Garrison Drive and Gateway Boulevard.
The 63,800-square-foot facility is expected to be completed in August 2016.
M-TEK, a subsidiary of Kasai Kogoyo Ltd., manufactures interior
automotive parts like door panels, rear shelf, trunk trim, dash insulators and plastic injection trim for several North American automotive assembly plants, including Nissan's Smyrna plant.
M-TEK President Masaki Sugisawa said the headquarters will be
home to the automotive supplier's North American corporate leadership, engineering department and research and development

Amedisys Opens Executive Offices
NASHVILLE, TN (July) Amedisys officials announced the company will open a new executive office in Nashville. Amedisys, a
leading health care at home company, will invest $2.5 million and
create approximately 120 new jobs in Davidson County over the
next five years.
The majority of Amedisys’ CEO Executive Team will be based in
the Nashville office, which will be located in downtown Nashville at
Cummins Station. This strategically located office will
help Amedisys build pivotal relationships with important industry
leaders and analysts and attract strong talent from the healthcare
industry, including Nashville’s robust talent pool of health services
professionals.
Amedisys’ care teams deliver personalized home health and hospice care to approximately 355,000 patients each year. The company is also a post-acute care partner to more than 2,233 hospitals
and 61,900 physicians across the country.
The Nashville office will open in July, with the goal of having the
majority of the CEO Executive Team in place by October. Other

Tier IV Data Center in McMinnville
McMINNVILLE, TN (July) Litewire, LLC, a new IT services company, will open a new Tier IV data center in Warren County. The facility will be located in the former A.O. Smith Building in McMinnville,
creating 66 new jobs.
Litewire offers managed enterprise IT services, data center colocation, private and shared cloud services, disaster recovery service
strategies, network management and information security and training.
The Litewire infrastructure is completely modular, offering an unprecedented ability to scale based off of client density and demand. This
will allow any size company, small business or large-scale corporation, to exist in the Litewire environment efficiently and affordably. The
Litewire facility is also unique, because it houses the City of McMinnville Police Headquarters making it the only data center in the world
with a police station "onsite."
McMinnville Electric System has partnered with Litewire to provide
automated switching between two separate substations and has provided dual feeds for utility power. “Supplying reliable power to a data
center is a daunting responsibility that we at McMinnville Electric System take seriously,” McMinnville Electric System CEO Rodney Boyd
said. “That is why we are pleased that Litewire has chosen McMinnville, Tennessee as the location of choice for their new state-of-theart facility.”
At 285,000 square feet, Litewire’s Warren County facility is the largest potential data center footprint under one roof in the Southeast.

Servpro Launches Big Local Expansion
GALLATIN, TN (August) Servpro Industries, Inc. will invest
$738,000 to expand its current operations in Gallatin, creating 204 new jobs in Sumner County.
Servpro currently employs more than 430 people in Sumner
County, making it the eighth-largest employer in the county.
Servpro oversees a network of more than 1,700 franchisees
specializing in fire and water cleanup and repair.
The Gallatin-based franchise company is expanding into
currently unused space at their corporate headquarters,
which underwent an expansion in 2014 and boasts nearly
200,000 square feet and an additional 150 offices. In utilizing this space, Servpro Industries, Inc. will train franchisees

Ryder to Add 600 Jobs in $16.5 Expansion
SPRING HILL, TN (August) Ryder Supply Chain Solutions announced it will be investing $16.5 million to expand its presence in
Spring Hill, a move that is slated to add more than 600 new jobs.
The company will enlarge its transportation, kitting and assembly
operations by doubling its warehousing space from 300,000 square
feet to 600,000. The transportation, logistics and supply company
is set to increase employment from 200 workers to more than 800
in the next five years.
Ryder will be hiring for mobile equipment operators, kitting and
sequencing operators and shuttle drivers. The facility is located on
the General Motors campus off U.S. Highway 31.
TriWest Help Veterans
NASHVILLE, TN (August) TriWest Healthcare Alliance
will open a facility in Davidson County to serve the community health care needs of our nations’ veterans. TriWest will invest $1.2 million to open the Nashville Operations Center, creating 250 new jobs.
As a partner to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA),
TriWest administers the VA’s Patient-Centered Community Care (PC3) program and the Veterans Choice Program (VCP). The Nashville Operations Center will allow
the company to keep up with a significant increase in
health care requests as more Veterans become eligible
for the VCP.
TriWest is a proud supporter of the Veterans Economic
Communities Initiative (VECI). The VECI aims to increase the number of education and employment opportunities for veterans and their families through a network

Ryder takes individual auto parts that will go on GM vehicles, puts
them into kits and sequences to help enhance the timeline for making vehicles via line production. “This is a tremendous amount of
new jobs coming to Spring Hill and Maury County,” Maury County
Chamber and Economic Alliance President Wil Evans said. “While
we did see many announcements last year, within the last 18
months, this is by far the largest single number of jobs announced
by one project publicly.”
In 2013, GM officials announced plans to “create or retain” 1,800
jobs in Spring Hill as part of a $350 investment to bring in two new
vehicles. The next-generation Cadillac SRX crossover is one, but
the other has not been named.

LEBANON, TN (August) SureCan Incorporated officials announced the company will establish a new manufacturing facility in Wilson County. SureCan,
which manufacturers an innovative gas can, will invest $15.5 million to begin
new operations in Lebanon, creating 101 new jobs.
The company plans to manufacture and assemble fuel cans at the Lebanon
location, 800 Maddox Simpson Parkway, allowing them to better serve market
demand for their product in the Southeast and Northeast.
SureCan features patented spill-proof technology and a rotating nozzle and
thumb-release trigger, allowing gravity to dispense fuel from the bottom of the
can. It also self-ventilates, has a comfortable grip and a durable design. SureCan allows the user to direct how and where the gas will dispense, making it the

Multimatic Speeds Into Marshall County
LEWISBURG, TN (August) Canadian
based, Multimatic Tennessee LLC will
locate a new automotive manufacturing
operations in Lewisburg. Multimatic will
invest more than $20 million in building
upgrades and new robotic welding infrastructure and create 181 new jobs in Marshall County.
Multimatic Tennessee LLC said it
will upgrade its facility and add new
robotic welding infrastructure for its
engineering and manufacturing of
automotive body hardware, suspension systems and body structures,
as well as the design and development of lightweight composite automotive systems. Multimatic also delivers niche vehicle design, development and production for road and race
car applications.
Multimatic is headquartered in Toronto,
Canada, and has manufacturing operations and engineering facilities in North
