Founded in 1984, Les Films de la Passerelle specializes in documentary films committed on various levels:
social (the prison world, the steel industry, women's strikes), humanitarian (humanitarian intervention in
Somalia, African hospitals), political (dictatorship in Zaire) and North-South relations (kids on the street and
favelas in Brazil, colonials in Zaire).
European partners generally finance these productions that have been selected at numerous film festivals,
some at which they have received awards. They also have been broadcast worldwide by many television
companies. In 1996, Les Films de la Passerelle received an award for best producer from the European
Union for the production of "Donka, X-ray of an African Hospital

Good News for Film is a corporation established in 2001. This division is home to our film production studio
which creates and produces blockbuster films, television programs, and provides audio and visual services

The company started its operation at the beginning of 2003. It completed its organizational structuring by

ARTE France Cinéma finances the production of around 20 films a year from a 7.5 million euro budget. As
co-producer, it receives a share of revenue from different sources (ticket sales, video, TV, and foreign
sales). This income is reinvested in producing new films.
Since its founding, ARTE France Cinéma has been involved in over 450 films and has worked with 270
different directors representing more than 50 nationalities. Its focus is on talent renewal, efforts to boost
European and world cinema and revitalize French cinema. Roughly speaking, co-production is equally
divided among three categories: first features,French films, and international joint ventures.
ARTE France Cinéma is particularly interested in supporting new authors for their first or second films, such
as Sophie Barthes, Adrian Sitaru, Katell Quillévéré, Pelin Esmer, Mia Hansen-Love.
ARTE France Cinéma supports European and international cinema with renowned directors such as Lars

BAC Films has launched its own International sales department. BAC has launched is headed by Silvère
Moreau. The slate will include an average of six films per year to be marketed to distributors worldwide for
cinema release, TV broadcast and video.
The first film to be sold by BAC Films International, Turtles can fly, directed by Bahman Ghobadi, was
awarded the Concha d’or at the San Sebastian Festival in Spain in September 2004. The film has already

Lowave is an independent film label founded in 2002 by Marc Horchler and Silke Schmickl to promote
experimental film and contemporary video art and make them accessible beyond the film festival and

Inkas Productions was founded in March 1997 by two partners. Since its foundation Inkas business has
included the production of national feature films, short films and documentaries, as well as international
co-productions that most of them received awards at various International Film Festivals. Inkas participated
at the 54th Cannes Film festival at the “Producers on the Move” – European Film promotion – program, as
a representative of the Greek Film Centre. In March 2004, Inkas organized the EAVE Workshop in Athens (A
professional training program developing the skills of European Producers) on behalf of the Greek Partner

Plot: In June 2009, the world was shaken by the 10th Iranian presidential election. The events following
the election received great media attention. In what was the most violent days since the Islamic revolution,
over 65 people were killed, and the world began to wonder just what could cause such widespread anger
with the government.
"Red, White and the Green" is a documentary which takes place during the last three weeks leading up to
the June 22nd Election. It features over 55 minutes of never before seen footages in the Iranian capital.
The most moving aspect of the movie is the great optimism which most people show towards the
upcoming election, not knowing the great horror that is around the corner for most of them.
During the film, the director interviews various prominent figures, several of which have been imprisoned
since the election. The list includes dissident journalist Isa Saharkhiz and renounced director Jafar Panahi.

ArapánCinemaDocumentario was founded in February 2007.
The cooperative was born of the desire of the three founding members to propose a dynamic context of
creation and development in documentary cinema, production and training. The aim is to produce cinema
directly linked to reality. But also cinema requiring attentive, personal observation of the Southern Italy
society and culture. The company organise training courses and festivals in different cities in South Italian
Regions (Sicilia, Calabria, Campania).
The Company has been create to become a strong reference in the audiovisual Mediterranean network: the
themes that are treated in our documentaries concern, in a very direct way, the social issues that
characterize the 4 principal regions of South Italy. The intention is to develop also the work of directors
living in those regions, or in other Mediterranean regions, in coproduction with other Mediterranean
countries.
Concerning the training and festivals activity, the company is working with local institutions to create a long
term collaboration in order to establish a training short term system specialised in ‘cinéma vérité’.

Vitagraph is an Italy-based international sales agent, founded in 1995 by Filippo D’Angelo, the managing
director of the company. We specialise in distribution of quality film and television productions from
independent producers, mainly from Italy.
We licence Feature films, Documentaries and Shorts for all media including Television, DVD distribution,
VOD, Mobile TV and the Internet.
Particularly, Vitagraph is involved in independent cinema, trying out to discover and choose images born
from creative approaches. We aim at professionally presenting original works mainly emerged from the
independent production of documentaries in Italy.
However, in the last years we have acquired international films such as the Horror/Erotic “Jess Franco
Collection” and our catalogue includes now more than 50 titles.

The Company for Distribution and Film Performance “GENCI” in Prishtina the capital city of Kosova, has
been created in 1999 as the first and only Distribution Company. Our company has one screening cinema
according to European standards. Cinema ABC is member of ‘Europa Cinemas’ Association since 2001 and

About Productions was created in 1998 by Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige to achieve and co-produce
movies. After having produced their first feature films and documentaries, they were joined by Geaorge
Schoucair. Since then, George Schouchair has been managing About Productions and producing more and

“Fondation Liban Cinéma” (FLC) is a non-profit private association created in February 2003, whose
objective is to participate in the development of cinema industry in Lebanon, through the support of
creation, production and promotion of films, on the local as well as regional and international level.
Since its creation, FLC is present in several areas, and via its activities it plays a federating role in the
Lebanese audiovisual sector:
FLC participates in Regional and International Festivals and Film Markets, such as Cannes, Cairo,
and Dubai… in order to present recent Lebanese films.
FLC promotes Lebanon as a filming destination and a potential regional center of production and
postproduction in order to develop cinema industry in Lebanon. For this, FLC highlights the
country’s rich natural, historical and cultural heritage, as well as its highly competitive human and
technical resources.
FLC works for the preservation of Lebanese cinema heritage through the restoration and digital
transfer of old feature films and the archives of Télé-Liban.
FLC participates in the continuous training of filmmakers, a necessary effort for this sector in
constant evolution. Several annual specialized workshops & seminars are organized on different
themes.
FLC is preparing a database on the Lebanese audiovisual landscape in Lebanon and the Lebanese
professionals in the Diaspora.
FLC enhances the development of film production by organizing pitching sessions, by offering
prizes and grants, and by creating opportunities of support to the financing of films.
FLC works on the creation of a fund for the support of development, production and promotion of
films.

The Chairman of CTV services is Abdelaziz Ben Abdel Mlouka who has a long life experience in the audiovisual field. After a long practice at the SATPEC (The State owned production and distribution company), he

long sighted captain of a professional team with high professional skills. Abdelaziz Ben Mlouka has been
successful for a long time which is why his reputation is known nationally and internationally. Most of the
well known film directors, who worked with Abdelaziz Ben Mlouka in the past, renewed their partnership
with CTV. For example, the American producer, Rick McCullum (Lucasfilm), after the shooting of Star Wars:
Episode -I- The Phantom Menace Georges Lucas was extremely satisfied with CTV’s services and decided to
shoot the second part of the “The Clone Wars” with CTV. Successful partnerships were renewed with
Vertigo Productions and Director Cédric Klapich, with Jean Paul Belmondo and for “La Vérité si je Mens” of
Thomas Gilou with José Garcia, Richard Anconina, Gad El Malech, Bruno Solo and Daniel Prevost.
With “3B productions” it was the same successful collaboration with “ Vivre au paradis” starring Rochdy
Zem and “Flandres” of Bruno Dumont, who won the first prize of the jury at the “Cannes Film Festival ” in
2006. A CTV service provides an excellent quality of work for film professionals. CTV is able to offer, thanks
to a perfect knowledge of the Tunisian environment, a complete painting of the different possibilities that
Tunisia offers, including the diversity and beauty of its landscapes, historical patrimony and human
