Job description and required skills:
Fun, friendly, positive students wanted. If you love working with children, have a strong desire to provide GREAT service
and dream of living near the beach, than this is the job for you. Improve your English and develop leadership skills as a
Ride Operator. You will enforce ride restrictions to ensure safe operations. You will assist guests, with boarding rides,
particularly small children or guests with a disability. Check restraints to ensure they are secured. MUST be physically able
to work long hours in full sun and heat. MUST be able to stand for long periods of time. Advanced English.

immediately.

Training paid at the hourly rate. Students may be trained in several different positions. Training may
take up to two weeks. Students may not receive full hours until training period is complete.
Students will not reach full hours until June 3rd when the park is open full time. Students should be
prepared to work only weekends until June 3rd.

Must wear close-toed sport shoes and khaki (tan) trousers. As the weather gets warm, khaki short
trousers are allowed, they must come to the knee, no short shorts. Students must also bring a
white buttoned down dress shirt, with a collar for employer provide tie. Shirt must have buttons from
the top (neck) to bottom of shirt. Employees with long hair must have it up and off their shoulders.
No visible tattoos. Nails must be kept short and well groomed. Natural colored or natural looking
hair color. UNIFORMS MUST BE CLEAN as you are a representative of Gillian's Wonderland Pier.
Cleanliness is very important! Body odor will not be tolerated.
Additional information:
Open weekends only until 6/3. Full time hours 6/3 to 9/6. Weekend hours are available after 9/6. Positions are assigned by the employer. Must be flexible and open to
any position assigned. Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, including late hours to 1 AM. This is an outdoor position, weather can effect hours. Must be able to
work through 9/6. NO exceptions! Must be able to work in summer heat and full sun. Students are responsible for finding own their housing. CHI will assist but will not
secure housing on your behalf. It may be 3 weeks before you receive your first paycheck. Be prepared.
