LINES OF THE COLLECTION
This season we present an easy-to-wear collection, comfortable garments with silhouettes that can be
worn all day, but which can also be used at night combined with skirts or pants.
Garments which as always are extremely comfortable, skirts with elastic waistbands, straight trousers,
bell bottoms or shorts, wide dresses of every length, light jackets and coats and, of course, shirts and
sweatshirts, which are already a hallmark of the firm.
The materials are our favourites for summer, linen in provocative colours, rustic silk, poplin and printed
cottons with all our classic motifs, custom jacquards with hearts, stars or fun tinsel effects, coloured
stripes on transparent fabrics and long fringes with faded dye.
The mix of prints, colours and materials make daily dressing a fun game of experimentation in which
anything can be combined with anything: plain with prints, colour with colour, jacquard with felt, night
with day, all for a woman who sets her own limits.

A BALCONY BY THE SEA
It has been demonstrated that we all have the idea of heaven as a faraway place with tropical vegetation,
vast beaches of fine white sand and a sea with a colour that is impossible to reproduce.
In the constant search for this paradise, we find happiness by savouring the sea from the privileged deck
of a boat.
The ability to travel without noise, without haste, without stress, enjoying the coast from a different
perspective. This gives us so much excitement that it makes us feel like we’ve reached this paradise we’ve
been seeking.
Striped, printed and plain fabrics in sea colours, combined with the most explosive vegetation from
tropical forests, allow us to offer colourful designs which are enthusiastic and utterly appealing.
Sensual, flowing lines, adapting themselves to the needs of each occasion.
Natural fabrics like cotton, linen, silk and blends of these draw us into a seductive summer full of
attractions.
Men and women who truly enjoy the charms of the places they visit, their own emotions and the things
they have managed to dream.

LINES OF THE COLLECTION
My Spring-Summer 2016 collection proudly wears its Rock & Roll spirit on its chest. It tells a story of
rebellion, a leather-clad attitude, of black lace with silk fringes. Daring fabrics and cuts: risky see-through
guipure and tulle, red carpet outfits which defy the world with their flight of silk, organza and large sequins
with vintage reflections on necklines, and very pronounced openings.
The romantic essence of rock is incarnated in the big red roses of the Spanish Kabuki pattern, at
times veiled by black lace, nets which cast extreme reflections on the focal points of the stage. The
flowers multiply in Matt Lamb’s rosas print, which rebel against the darkness and explode in a powerful
combination of colours which fills the catwalk with life.

OBUMU
Spring-Summer 2016
Obumu means solidarity in the language of the towns of Kasenda and Kimya, Uganda, one of the most
beautiful but most deprived areas of the country. I want to give visibility to Kelele Africa, a tiny NGO
dedicated to helping and educating the women and children in this area.
You can see their work and support them at www.keleleafrica.org
White colour, white voices and natural fabrics such as linen, silk georgette, cotton guipure.
A collection that accentuates the craftsmanship used in making its materials, good stitching and clean
silhouettes, all without artifice.
Solid primary colour as tones or as brushstrokes on white.
White.
We would like to thank AEG for joining this venture with us and for having created a range of washing
machines that takes good care of the garments we have presented.

SUMMER 2016 SYNOPSIS
“The universe could be chaotic and ugly, but instead it is beautiful, simple and governed by simple
mathematical rules”
Michio Kaku
Every act of perception is an act of creation. According to constructivists, reality is a construction
invented by the person observing it.
The concept of beauty is based on from order and structure within a controlled construction, aiming for
sensitivity through abstraction and, perhaps with the desire to impose a little order on reality, finding in
symmetry an excuse to define ourselves.
Colours: Orange, khaki, red, blue, lime yellow and white.
Shapes: Geometrical, linear and symmetrical, avoiding decoration. We used the kimono as a reference
to construct tunics and garments with a free structure and using striped fabrics we created concentric
rectangular spaces.
Materials Khaki silk guipure, orange satin and silk crêpe, lime yellow cotton taffeta, cotton poplin with red,
blue and yellow stripes, cool khaki wool and striped cotton organdy.

SUN, SEA AND SEX
These three words are key to understanding the tourist boom in the Costa del Sol in the 1960s and 1970s. Foreign
currencies and modernity blew into the country like fresh air. Swedish girls flooded the beaches of Torremolinos
displaying their charms. Grand modern architecture hotels were raised, changing the physiognomy of the city. There
were nightspots concealing the secrets of cinema legends such as Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman and Sophia Loren.
Spanish films dedicated to the Costa del Sol of the time help us to reconstruct the landscape of a golden age, but
were based entirely on clichés: Sangria, the Latin lover, flamenco and paella. Clichés which were certainly realities,
but which do not at all depict the cosmopolitanism, tolerance.
Freedom and fun at the height of the dictatorship and which preceded the social and cultural changes that Spain
needed so badly.

-HAIKUHaikus are brief but intense poems that contain complete visual descriptions of small moments in life. In their
original seventeen syllables in Japanese, haikus express worlds of deep emotion and lucidity. They are deceptively
simple, but offer a fascinating complexity when read carefully.
Using this basis as its inspiration, a collection has been designed where every look has its own personality that
operates in isolation or as a part of a group.
On a straight, vertical, sinuous silhouette, the designs play with cuts and overlays to define that inner complexity
that is only perceptible when observed closely.
The fabrics range from linen, cotton and silk with a very textured look, then suede with reverse “napado” (a new
material in the development of the collections of Ulises Mérida), all the way to technological fabrics with metallic
effect finishes.
The colours of the collection include light, medium and metallic greys, which share space with beiges and whites.
This chromatic range is broken radically with the introduction of tones like royal blue, magenta, cyclamen and purple.

VOYAGE SAUVAGE
Andrés Sardá invites us on an evocative journey to the heart of Africa.
The collection is presented to us by taking us into the African night, and revisiting the classics from a
new perspective.
We see girls on safari, as tribal women or animals, but always seen through the Sardá perspective and
with a nocturnal theme.
Swimwear or lingerie break in depending on the moment and circumstance, playing with colours, textures
and materials.
For the safari theme, there is silk in the form of gabardine, organza or satin, combined with lingerie, giving
this group a sophisticated and subtle air.
For the tribal theme, an explosion of colours, contrasts and materials offer us an extraordinary visual
game, combining the different swimwear series.
The animal world selects lingerie or swimwear for each creation as required.

LINES OF THE COLLECTION
The invasion of natural areas and the connecting of sophisticated urbanite women with nature are the inspiration that
the designer Roberto Torretta wants to convey in his spring-summer 2016 collection.
Fresh, feminine, with an elegant and alternative spirit, the collection has been developed around 3 silhouettes that
change throughout the day.
The morning dresses are short, with sophisticated volumes in skirts and highly precise necklines: here, the weight of
the fabric is critical.
White cotton jacquard, twills with beautiful nature motifs digitally printed in shades of green, red on a white background
etc., convey the beauty of nature and maintain the silhouette...
In the afternoon the silhouette lengthens: mid-height dresses which are sometimes tight, sometimes fluid, in ocean
blue and off-white glen check, red satin, or in plaster pink crepe combined with openwork fabrics in black, which bring
this time of day to a close.
Elegant long dresses in intense mauve pink crepe and blue slate open the night: T-shaped necklines are supported on
the body in a suggestive manner, and the curved cuts give the silhouette a sculptural shape...
Trousers, sophisticated overalls and the dinner suit: a real must from Roberto Torretta, in crepe and metallic grey
leather which start to play and combine, underpinning the collection.
Naturalness, sophistication and elegance are the premises of designer Roberto Torretta for his Summer 2016 prêt-aporter collection.

“Colour is all about visual and emotional reaction. It can be something perfectly ordinary or something
utterly extraordinary”. This is the reflection from which we started to create our Summer 2016 collection
and with which we aim to show the chromatic identity of the house.

AZABACHE
For centuries Spanish jet (known as azabache in Spanish) has been considered the best-quality jet in the world. Jet is a semiprecious stone of
great value, known for its intense colour, excellent texture and its incomparable hardness. It is a fossil material of plant origin, which comes
from a Jurassic tree family on the Asturias coast that has been extinct for 60 million years. The intense colour of this enigmatic stone has
captivated writers, painters, goldsmiths, jewellers, designers and craftsmen from around the world who, fascinated by the magic of its brilliant
darkness, pay tribute in their works to its purity and the enigma of its origin.
“Only the jet mirrors of his eyes are hard like two black crystal scarabs.” Platero and I - Juan Ramón Jiménez
Azabache is a collection which takes us to a prehistoric garden, where unimaginable flowers emerge with their hypnotic colours. A garden
where the game of seduction begins with the flight of marvellous winged creatures flitting between huge leaves and giant petals of exultant
beauty. “Upon discovering the origin of jet, I was immediately transported back to a time millions of years ago, imagining what the botanical
environment would have been like before the process of fossilisation began.” So explains Hannibal Laguna.
Volumes of oversized flowers, micro-size skirts, jewel T-shirts with sumptuous plant designs and opulent dresses with hundreds of faceted
beads. Centre stage is taken by the lavish embroidery, which wends its way like crystalline labyrinths between silk muslins, organza and gazar.
The tailored lace and jewelled bodies are characterised by transparent sections which leave the back exposed. Unique, feminine and elegant
pieces, dotted with precious organic gems. Silhouettes with a bias cut directly on the mannequin. This technique is part of the creative process
of the designer and has become one of the main hallmarks of his collections.
The colour Jet Black is the main theme of a chromatic palette taken to extremes which is rich in nuances and floral tones. Fabrics dyed with
the colours Pink Orchid, Bougainvillea, Imperial Violet, Poppy Red, Forest Green and Morning Glory Blue.
This time the suggestive nude and transparent sections go all the way down to the shoes. Pieces handmade in craft workshops in Spain. Here,
the designer combines textiles and noble leather, achieving attractive combinations that simulate translucent and misty effects. The traditional
lines are reversed, uncovering heels and concealing insteps and uppers. They feature attractive embroidery and weightless petals climbing like
creepers to surround the ankle, thus simulating delicate silk vines. The high heels coexist with richly ornamented flat structures which provide
the transition between day and night.
“The Azabache model is one of our hidden treasures, its beauty is simple and overwhelming. I was fascinated when I discovered how the
eccentricity of nature had made it possible, how jet would be converted into the black pearls of prehistory”, says the creator.

INSPIRATION
Summer goes by along narrow, maze-like streets and white walls. The sun is asphyxiating, condemning us to weariness. The solitude of the
streets is interrupted by the buzzing of bees in search of their future. Dry fountains seem to cry their last tears. Andalusian patios and the
scent of vines, which seem to resist the end of spring, open a parenthesis on the harsh, dry Andalusian summer. A hard, indoor summer,
inviting introspection and solitude.
There, behind the window bars, I spent the evenings thirsting for colour and hope, dreaming a better summer. Dreaming, always dreaming,
evening after evening and year after year. A summer of gushing water that gives life to geraniums, petunias, carnations and polka dots. A
green summer that is born and dies in the south. The bird’s eye view of Andalusia from the previous collection gives way to a deeper, inside
perspective, a first-person view with its feet firmly planted on the ground. The aerial perspective has become an almost microscopic vision,
introspective, leaving behind the freedom of feeling like a bird and the rebelliousness of one who dares defy the laws of gravity.
I saw light in the flowers on the patios, I ran from the weariness of the parched land, the barren fields and the dead leaves. I saw life in the
springs and purity in the white streets, the stage of my short life. Always there were the impassive window bars waking me up. They were
black, strong, the custodian of the green patios I breathed within and never came to understand.
But I was the master of my dreams. And I dreamt. I dreamt my first summer.
TRENDS: Patterns meticulously designed to achieve a perfect symbiosis between simplicity and technique, bringing together two of the
designer’s defining characteristics: tradition and modernity. Geometrical cuts reminiscent of craftwork, traditional techniques and modern
ones, combined with prints that evoke the designer’s native Andalusia, an endless source of inspiration. The prints divide the collection into
two lines and give coherence to the colour palette in lightweight, thin garments alongside others with more body and volume.
MATERIALS: The materials selected on this occasion are those inherent to the brand, such as leather, PVC and cotton, present in all of the
designer’s collections, along with more unusual ones like organza, organdy and gabardine. The mixture of these materials with other, more
lightweight fabrics, such as crochet, linen, crêpe and burlap, create a rich blend of textures that the designer uses to bring the designs to life.
COLOURS: The colour palette is a nostalgic, almost bucolic look back at the summery childhood that inspires this collection. Pastel shades
like earth grey, pink and salmon predominate. These are offset by aubergine to achieve a balance between the romanticism and passion that
flow from this collection. This duality will be reflected very well in the prints which navigate and evolve through the entire colour range present
in this collection.

WOMEN’S COLLECTION
The collection we are presenting is inspired by music, by the importance it has had throughout history
and also in the present day. We want to capture the sensations that can be felt when listening to it, the
movement and the harmony.
The main fabrics will be those with which we can represent movement, like chiffon, organza, cheesecloth
silk, crepe, tulle, chantilly, lace, brocade, etc.
The fabrics will define the female silhouette, making it a very feminine collection.
We will be creating fabrics with prints that we will design ourselves, inspired by musical notes and scores.
The collection will have a handmade element using the scrapbooking technique applied to the fabric,
through which we will shape embossed flowers that will decorate many of the creations.

EN PLEIN AIR
ETXEBERRIA’s Spring-Summer 2016 collection, “en plein air”, focuses on three main themes that we have
wanted to develop since the beginnings of the brand.
Firstly, revising the “English Drape” and “Ivy League” patterns for the summer based on the habitual
actions of our workshop: the cuts, the height of the armhole, the lengths of the sleeves, the buttoning
and the necklines.
Secondly, exploring the abilities of a fabric that is completely summer-like, as is seersucker. In the same
way as what we did for “Pure Leather”, when we created the whole collection in a single material, leather,
this time we will work solely with seersucker. And in the same way as in the “Roots” collection, we work
with its textures and its visual aspects.
And lastly, the use of ceramics as accessories. Carme Balada, who we have already worked with on other
occasions, has developed a series of necklaces, bracelets, collar necklaces, etc. in collaboration with
ETXEBERRIA, which adds to the styles supplementing them.

The ten years of JUANA MARTÍN
Ten-plè
The Cordoba designer celebrates at the 62nd edition of MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK MADRID a
decade of fashion and renewal while maintaining the essence of JUANA MARTíN that has brought her so
many successes.
On this occasion she wants to recall and consolidate her entire career and she aims to make a retrospective
using new fabrics and cuts that have as their common thread the past, present and future of the firm.
Juana has been inspired to give birth to… Ten-plè.
Fine fabrics, silks and lace, among others, will be starring in a collection that has its strength in the prints
chosen carefully and exclusively by the designer. The design will seek to follow a refined line and hand
sewing always supported by neutral colours which serve as the underlying architecture of the garment.
In short, what JUANA MARTÍN proposes for spring and summer 2016 is a line marked by sophistication,
with an incessant study of the incorporation of the flywheel in everyday clothing, sheer fabrics, colours
that enhance feminine beauty and the unmistakable touch of the land where she was born, Andalusia,
which is so highly valued outside Spain in the fashion world.

Harbinger: Indication, sign which portends or announces a future event via intuition or interpretation of
signals. A phenomenon which often refers to the advent of a change. Divination of future things through
intuition or feelings that have warned us about it.
The collection takes as its starting point the harbinger, the intuition to create pieces of contemporary
design based on classic lines that are deconstructed, giving way to innovative shapes.
Lines: Feminine, asymmetrical, lingerie details that are externalised, sculpted dresses on mannequins
through the technique of “moulage”, moving parts that transform a dress into various sections, pleats and
handmade chantilly applications, crystals and ostrich feathers, “angel skin” maxi and micro floral prints
and iridescent metallic details.
Fabrics: Silk: Muslin, silk thread, duchesse satin and angel skin.
Neoprene, grid, tulle, Chantilly lace, metallic nappa and mechanized doily.
Colours: Cream, pale pink, sun, pearl, aqua, black and iris.

REPLICA
My girl is feeling trapped in the middle of the new ‘10 years, where individual identity has been diluted in a
post-digital and overstimulated generation that has stopped questioning the origin, reason or destination
of beauty at a time of uncertainty.
Social networks, the democratisation of fashion, fast fashion, mass culture and institutionalisation of
policies since the fall of the Berlin wall, all of which have turned beauty into an empty, scattered and
lethargic phenomenon.
My girl was punk, sixties, grunge, emo, rapper, grunge and she is thinking about being a punk again.
Gothic lolita, hardcore, normcore, health goth… suggestions are welcome for what comes next.
María ke Fisherman is joining this trend. To the anti-trend, to break up the history of fashion, to make very
small pieces and to put them back together again, without any other intention then to stun the understood
and fascinate the profane, making an ironic instant of what is happening in this desperate attempt for
transition. Replicant fashion. Android. Automaton.

WALKING UP THE MOUNTAINS wants to be an utopian vision. The project yearns for a return to rethink
fashion and its ability to propose an aesthetic and visual challenging vision, while holding as well a
conceptual and sustainable character. “It’s the end of fashion as we know it” says Li Edelkoort.
The process and the experimentation are fundamental to the development of the designs in the proposal.
A wide research on concepts and materials strange to the textile world, as well as the combination of
traditional and innovative methods, are the keys to create these visionary designs. WALKING UP THE
MOUNTAINS talks about the creative process and the situation in the industry. The odd dialectic of
Fashion and its visionary potential combined with the commercial pragmatism of a garment’s design.
The proposal is based on the design and development of garments and accessories with a double
impact: visual-aesthetic and social-environmental. The experimental process brings along research and
the application of experimental technologies resulting in portable orchards, organic embroidery and a
combination of sustainable fabrics and colours sensitive to heat.
The “user” intervenes, takes part and helps to make it real. It’s not just consumption but action. Creativity
is shared.

“L’enfer, c’est l’absence eternal” (Hell is an eternal absence) Victor Hugo.
“Ausencia” is FDC and 44store’s silent tribute to Paris as an universal source of inspiration for so many artists along
History.
Techno-saten waterproof textile, which unifies most of “Ausencia” garments, evokes the cold and humid Parisian
weather and the countless umbrellas and raincoats all over the city in the cold winter evenings. Beside, both the
geometrical forms and the embroidered faces designed by Jaime Mesa are an affectionate nod to the Louvre
Museum and, particularly, to its crystal pyramid at the entrance which held a great fascination for FDC when he
first visited the city. Prussian blue, Grey Taupe and acrylic black... they all form a color palette deliberately made
for “Ausencia” in order to transport us to that aesthetic universe of Parisian streets, pewter skies, and splendid and
magnificent old buildings.
True to the designer’s philosophy and transgressive nature, every garment in “Ausencia” is unisex and oversized.
An extremely evocative overlapping of volumes and textures subtly interconnected by the metallic shine of zippers.
For the presentation of this collection, the designer has counted on the invaluable collaboration of Jaime Mesa, who
designed the embroidered designs on some garments, Comme des Machines and their 3D biodegradable pieces
and Petrucha shoes.

SKIN-DEEP
Multiple fluid layers with delicate embroidery, light garments that contrast with static lines and dynamic Nordic-style
prints.
“The skin is the body’s largest organ...”. In “skin-deep” we wanted to reflect the complexity and the multiple
functions of the skin using overlays of fabrics. Eight layers of light georgettes create blocks of fabrics which coexist
with stiffer components of a single layer of fabric, but of equal thickness.
This result of several layers of different influences and cultural, visual and aesthetic interests create a range of
colors ranging from light pink to intense black, intermingled with each other and creating new shades through the
transparency of the fabrics used.
“The skin has a memory...”. Deconstructed garments which are cut into strips that never end or disappear altogether.
Although they change in shape, they always keep their experiences.
This collection can be described as urban, vital and balanced. Once again it is a dialogue between fluid and more
structured forms, giving this collection the AZABALA personality.

“It has to exist something very special in the limits of the universe. And what is more special than the absence of
limits? Limits should not exist in people’s determination. We all are different. It does not matter how difficult life
could be. There is always something that you can do and success. While there is life, there is hope”
The Theory of Everything, 2014
We all have dreams, we dream about reaching places which only a minority has conquered. The only thing that
is sometimes between people and their dreams is inside themselves, fear, a small and insignificant distance, an
ephemeral line between everything and nothing.
IMPOSSIBLE is the reflection of this thinking, carried out in clothes with perfect and refined lines. This clothing is
transformed into a painting in which Paloma Suarez reflects her own stamping, hand painted with free movements
based on her feelings. This is the best form to get the intensity of tones and flecks, the reflection of a moment frozen
in time.
The authenticity of each pattern and the differences between them is what enriches the proposal, highlighting the
magic of being unique, unapologetic for not following the socially established models.
Normal is boring. Correct things tires. The different ones stands out.
The handmade pleated crepe will be one of the materials used along with semi-waterproof fabrics which make it
easier the application of textile paintings, preserving the original touch and fall, getting urbans silhouettes with a
sport-chic style, advocating comfort, trying to distinguish the personality and sophistication, the importance of
details and the good work.
Important messages that portray a real lifestyle will be the ones that put an end to the collection, leitmotiv of a
thinking based on effort, work, constancy and talent, betting on personal progress and laying aside luck. Limits do
not exist.
IMPOSSIBLE. I’M POSSIBLE

“PROM” Spring-Summer 2016
Everything shines in this collection, inspired by the reflection and setting of the “PROM”, the American graduation
ball par excellence.
This collection is made up of everything that this night represents and with its garments reflects the personality and
interests of each one of the students in attendance. Silhouettes that are dressed for a party in minimalist styles,
straight lines, diagonals and lightweight frills that create an effect of overlapping layers and volume. Sporty looks
with party fabrics, young and preppy details in the purest 1970s style.
Basic black and white in different finishes and textures act as the dominating colours in this collection, accompanied
by dancing queen pink and quarterback green.
Youthful accessories and own designed pieces, like satchels and sports shoes, complete this collection, inspired by
American youth and their desire to experience this legendary ball. PROM is party, fun, glitter, music…

After coming back to Paris, the book was shown to all members of the surrealistic club like fireworks in the European
avant-garde.
Hey Boo collection takes as main reference the Prinzhorn archive exploring its wild and symbolic universe.

A Toad Named Mike
Arkansas, Missisipi 1962.
Over sounds of guitar, stepping on dry soil under their boots, and with the sun burning their cheeks, the
three of them realized that they have reached with the fingertips that long time desired wish of freedom.
A freedom that you only can achieve when your home is on the road, but a piece of your heart stays in
every place you have been.
A vision of American counties through the eyes of three young people; youngsters who know that in that
moments will never come back. Leading a trip to find themselves. Life’s journey, as a method to be settled
down and disappear when everything is messed up and looks like there is no answer to that mess.
Because my whole life I have been obsessed with America.
It doesn’t matter where you come from, in that place you can begin from the scratch.
That land belongs to the dreamers.

organza, pastel colours of the facades of beautiful colonial buildings take centre stage, the black colour
contrast appears as border and border also appear, draw the silhouette... and somehow makes it more
beautiful.
Metallic accessories like belts fit oversized garments to exalt hips and shoulders. The print of polka dots
and flowers are vivid, joy, a fun note, the impossible combination of them represents a way to mix with

SAMSUNG AND THE WORLD OF FASHION
Pepa ROOMzar was the winner of the second edition with Hyperdry, a collection composed of
eight looks, in which technology is applied to both the fabrics and the staging of the collection,
which complemented the contemporary proposal offered by the designer. Lastly, the collection
Masdar Coats by Rubén Gómez, which consists of smart garments inspired by the ‘smart city’
concept, was the winning project of the third edition of this competition.
The world of fashion, which is becoming more and more related with technology, is a fascinating
field for Samsung, full of possibilities. That is why the company, which is dedicated to design
and innovation, supports the most talented contemporary designers so that they can further
themselves and bring their projects to life. In this regard, Samsung looks for different places
where both sectors can meet and come together in order to be able to bring about a change that
improves peoples’ lives.
In addition to being present at the most important international fashion events, Samsung has for
many years worked with Spanish creators and designers, such as ALVARNO, who have created
a special limited edition of five models of armband Samsung smart watches: Gear S by Alvarno.
Similarly, inspired by their Autumn-Winter 2015 collections, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Juan Vidal
and Amaya Arzuaga have designed the watch dials for the Samsung Gear S.
The Samsung EGO Innovation Project event searches for the most innovative project presented
by designers that have linked technology and fashion in any of its aspects: from the fabrics used
to the making of the clothes or the staging. It started up in 2013 with the collaboration of the
designer Ying Gao, who presented a selection of eight pieces from four collections from her
interactive projects. The internationally acclaimed Canadian designer demonstrated the essence
of the Samsung EGO Innovation Project with this selection of unique pieces which served to
inspire future candidates in the contest.
For all of the above reasons, both the sponsorship of Samsung EGO and the creation of this
event represent the support offered by the company to the Spanish design sector, as well as a
great level of commitment to innovation. The world of fashion allows Samsung to be much more
than a consumer electronics company and to explore new ways of continuing to support talent,
pushing innovation to new limits.
Subsequently, in February 2014, the Andalusian designer Leandro Cano was the winner of the
event and opened the fashion show for young designers with the collection 0,83°. The designer
