RivALZ® Blondes vs. Brunettes® Twin Cities is a volunteer-driven event that brings
together young professionals to compete in a fierce, friendly football game to raise
awareness & funds for Alzheimer’s disease. Leading up to Game Day, the teams
participate in a series of events to increase awareness of Alzheimer’s, attracting the
attention of the media and community.

develops the disease.
Alzheimer’s Disease is the 6th leading cause of
death in the United States.
5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s.

an estimated 18.1 billion hours of unpaid care.
Alzheimer’s kills more than Breast and Prostate

BvB is a national program established in 2005
in Washington, DC that has spread to 40 cities
nationwide – collectively raising more than $5
million and bringing thousands of new supporters
to the cause.
BvB Twin Cities began in 2013 with record-breaking
participation and raised nearly $500,000 in the first
three years.
BvB enjoys sponsorship support from major national
brands such as Under Armour, Minnesota Vikings,
Pepsi, Cargill and Target, as well as local support
from countless small businesses in the community.
