Litchfield Park Preschool Newsletter February, 2015 Issue News Valentine Day Parties We are having Valentine’s Day parties on Wednesday, February 11 and Thursday, February 12, 2015. All classes will be exchanging Valentines. Please write your child’s name on their Valentine in the “from” section. Please leave the “to” section empty (this will make it easier for the students to pass them out.) Please make sure you include enough Valentines for each student in the class. We will be serving Valentine sugar cookies. Class sizes: ABC A.M.: 16 students ABC P.M.: 16 students Adventures in Learning: 16 students Reminders February 17, 2015 is the due date for March, 2015 tuition. Please make sure to remit tuition payment on or before the February 17 due date to avoid the $15 late fee. (office closed Monday, February 16) No school on Friday, February 13, 2015 (Teacher in service) No school on Monday, February 16, 2015 (Presidents Day) Odds & Ends February is Heart Health, National Low Vision & Dental Awareness Month! This is a good time to focus on the health of our children; early intervention is key. If you’ve noticed your child experiencing problems seeing, hearing, or with speech, please take the time to contact your primary care physician or school district to discuss having your child tested. With cold and flu season upon us. Please keep your child home if he/she is ill. For our students safety only instructors and registered students are permitted to be in the classroom. This is a mandate of the Arizona Department of Health & Human Services. Please take your child to the restroom before class. For the safety of the children, we are unable to open the potty door until all the children have arrived and we have taken attendance. Please continue working with your child at home. The classroom learning reinforced by parent involvement builds a strong team to enrich your preschooler’s early childhood education.
